Healthy, it's too early to get a BFP on a a CB, they aren't very sensitive. You would need to be 14DPO for even a chance on a CB. FRERs are the best to test with early! Though even Wondfos are better than CBs for early testing.

essnce, I am so angry on your behalf! I hate these anti-children men! Although, Vs aren't always successful so it might be the only way you get another baby (with a good chance of girl), if he's being super careful to always use a condom. Have you considered taking the jizz out of the condom after sex and insrminating yourself?

Grace and Dream, I'm sorry for your DHs too. Mine was the same. I will never date another man unless he's willing to have kids immediately and until I say stop.

    My Ovulation Chart
currently TTC, Cycle #16 since last BFP

TTC #1 - swaying pink on & off since Nov 2013 - hoping for a girl first but excited for either!

Dec 2001 - May 2006 : 5 early abortions of healthy singletons (3 medical @5w, 2 surgical @8w, last 4 pregnancies conceived with late DH, all conceived while TTA/on birth control)
Mar 2012: miscarried B/G twins @5w (conceived 2 cycles after removìng Paraguard copper IUD while NTNP), one twin was ovarian ectopic

Me: 34, widowed, late O + short LP, normal-good hormone levels excepting undetectable testosterone, seeking a known sperm donor/life partner
My sway: vegetarian LE for over 28w, skipping breakfast, fibre (ground psyllium husks) with/before/between meals, physically inactive, drama avoidance, ocassional minimal YesBaby lube as needed, alternate cycles on low dose Clomid, double shot lattes (with meals)
Past sway tactics I've dropped (in order): Vitex, Sudafed, antihistamines, intermittent fasting, one attempt per cycle at positive OPK, one attempt in fertile period

On a happier note: We just had our attempt for this cycle!!! I usually ovulate on cd12 and today is cd10. Earlier today I noticed some creamy cm, but not EW at all. Hope it works :-)

Essnce- I am so sorry . I agree with everyone and I would have a heart to heart with him. I hope and pray once he learns how much this means to you, he will be on board ttcing. Maybe ask what amount of time trying he feels comfortable with, that way he feels like he has some control over it.

My DH is like that and that worked for him. When that time passed, I went into a depression. DH asked me what was wrong and I told him we had reached the sixth month mark TTCing. I told him I was trying to let go but I was struggling. He finally saw how much this means to me and now will keep trying for as long as it takes. He still freaks out about having three kids, but he likes having frequent sex.

    FX and for you!

xx, I think the acupuncture increased my sex drive, too. Fun!

    girliedreamz, FX for you!

essnce, big *hugs*. Hope you can talk and work things out. Let him explain his side to you and hopefully he'll be willing to listen to your side!

HealthyGirl, it's not over until af shows! Your hormone levels that the test picks up don't start until implantation and then they double every 48 hours. I think most tests need a level of of 20 or 25 to show. The First Response Early Response (FRER) is more sensitive than most and shows early for many ladies.

dreamofpink, I love your avatar! We plan to homeschool.

maiden, yes, wanting kids was a dealbreaker for me. I met dh online and wouldn't even look at profiles that said no. If you don't mind older men, I've noticed they seem to hit middle age (near 40) and regret not having kids. My dh is not that much older than me, but I know two single men who are older and would love to find the right person and start baby making. One is divorced and already raised a child as a single father, and just wants to do it again with a good partner. I share all this because I don't know exactly what your pickiness is about, but I encourage you to give the older and divorced men a chance, things I wasn't open to initially. And ironically after I opened myself up to be willing to go on first dates with such men, I finally met dh who was young and never married, and most important of all, wanted to start a family right away. Please don't put up with abuse from your df, I agree you deserve better!

My update: Cm frustrations again yesterday evening. How do I know if it's leftovers from bding the night before or my own cm? I usually can tell by smell. I know about the float test, but there wasn't enough for that, which makes me think maybe it was mine. But it was very stretchy, which makes me think his since mine hasn't been so stretchy but his is. I decided we should bd anyway just incase, but my hopes are down because I think my body just isn't ready.

I started looking at "The Infertility Cure" book and she says it typically takes 3 months of her approach to get things in balance for a bfp. The main components are acupuncture/acupressure, diet, and herbs. There's a long list of symptoms to try and diagnose what might be out of balance and which techniques are especially effective for that. It even explains how conditions relate to different parts of your cycle from the Chinese medicine viewpoint. I think I have kidney yin deficiency. My acupuncturist wouldn't tell me anything about what she was doing when I asked in the past because we agree I over-analyze and it was best I not know, but I might run this idea past her to see if she agrees with what the book suggests one do for yin kidneys. I'm not going to get into the herbs without seeing a Chinese medicine practitioner, so we'll see how the acupuncture, relaxation, and diet work first, which will be a couple of months. Ttc is a lot of "hurry up and wait"!

    Fx for you Grace!

sage, what's so annoying is that having kids young was part of our agreement when DH and I decided to marry, but then he kept delaying. Then he died. Still angry!

Online dating is great....except my written German is AWFUL. And reading-wise I'm not great either. I really need to work on those but I hate reading in German. Honestly it's my least fave language (I'm fluent in 5). I am totally okay with older men, and when I was younger it was my preference, but now I think I would prefer a younger man. I'm very picky about bodies....I only like very lean, slender men. Unfortunately most men in their 40s have at least a belly and I can't tolerate that. But if they are in good shape, I'm willing to consider men up to age 45. I'm pickiest about faces, I like very angular features and in particular noses. I'm a total nose snob. Also pale skin, no olive skin. Preferably light eyes. Voice and smell of skin are extremely important.

Personality-wise I like introverted, nerdy/geeky science/tech types best. They must be laid back bc I am so not. Artistic types are good too. Must be anti-government/libertarian. Must have a slightly silly sense of humour. Must be intellectual and love reading.

Bonuses but not required: beard, handy/good at fixing things/construction, eclectic taste in music, not cheerful, night owl, high sex drive, kinky/dominating in the bedroom, likes cats, loves food/is a foodie/not a picky eater, athletic, outdoorsy, large hands, blue/grey eyes, intact penis/foreskin, has never been divorced (I'm strongly anti-divorce), Jewish, into SF/Fantasy media.

Automatic deal breakers: fat, smoker, enjoys baseball or American football, weak chin/jaw line, bulbous nose, shorter than 5'7", has a dog, has a lisp, anxious/OCD personality.

I currently have an obsession with the pornstar James Deen. I would love to have his babies! His body and face and nose are perfect! I would prefer someone 6'4 or something but it's not a dealbreaker.

So yeah, if you know any appropriate man, either interested in a relationship or just donating sperm, please let me know! I am independently wealthy and I would be willing to fly a good candidate sperm donor to me.

sage, very stretchy means it's your CM. Semen liquidifies after about 15 minutes. I still think you are about to O any moment.

Maiden - that's awesome you know exactly what you want! Although unfortunately most of the men I know are definitely in your "deal breaker" column, it's nice to know exactly what you're looking for. Maybe if you're willing to fly someone out, check out an American/European online site? I once heard someone said, "I think it's crazy that out of the billions of people out there, your 'soul mate' lives in your hometown." Although this is totally DH and I, I do think there is some validity to it. There are so many people out there who do fit your criteria and wants - you shouldn't have to settle with DF if this round doesn't work out! Also, I'm going to look into YB! Thank you!

essence - I am so sorry about DH! That also makes me angry and sad for you, although hopefully it won't matter because your attempt will be the one that matters! Although that doesn't seem fair to me that this isn't a joint decision between the both of you. That should be part of marriage: compromise and communication. If he just did that out of the blue without consulting you, that would really upset me as well.

XX - I really hope you're going to O soon too! Hopefully all of us can be O buddies! I firmly believe that waiting to O is a million times more anxiety provoking than the 2WW. I HATE the waiting of O!

Of course, the one night I think I MIGHT O, I have a terrible nights sleep. CM was really slippery yesterday - so we BD'd last night and I went to bed around 10pm. Woke up at around 2am to the sound of the dog acting like he's going to puke. Took my temp out of curiosity because I woke up super hot and sweaty, but it was 97.18 (a converter online converted it to 97.88). Woke up again at 4:45 to the same sound, then at my regular 5:30 time to a temp of 97.74. Hopefully DH isn't too tired tonight and we can at least get in a try tonight and then see what happens tomorrow morning.

hi ladies, joining the 2WW thread if y'all don't mind one more? I'd forgotten that there was a 2WW board!

So anywho, after the LONGEST FOLLICULAR PHASE EVER post FET, I finally O'ed a week ago on CD25. False surged 3 times, gah, most annoying week ever. Though the 2WW is worse for me mostly because of the headgames I play with myself. Plus I'm a big ball of anxious trying to sleep at night because I worry so much that the next morning's temp will suck. Mostly I want this first cycle to not have a cruddy LP, not expecting too much otherwise.

Maiden, my DH checks off most of your list, especially personality wise. Well we do have a dog though. We have a lot in common in what we like in our guys, except I like mine clean shaven.

James Deen is delish. I also have the girliest girly crush ever on Jensen Ackles and Chris Pine.
    Me (38) and DH (38)

SAHM military momma to DS1 (2004), DS2 (who's all boy but loves to dance, though not in a tutu!) (2006), DS3 (2009), and our rainbow baby girl DD1 (2017)

    early m/c Jan 2013

Cycle #1 @ HRC (Oct 2014) - 6 retrieved, 4 mature, 3 fertilized and biopsied. 1XX and 1XY abnormal. 1XX no DNA found, rebiopsied and found normal, frozen.
FET attempt #1 (Nov 2014) - cancelled due to functional cyst. FET attempt #2 (Jan 30, 2015) - NT. Remaining embie failed to thaw.

May 2015 - started infertility treatments at OFC. Femara 2.5mg
    July 2015 - BFP after second round of Femara. Aug 4 2015 - 6w4d
    Dec 21 2015 - mmc 7w1d

Apr 2016 - IVF Cycle #2. Converted to IUI because of uneven response and leading follicles.
Apr 19, 2016 - IUI with 3 mature follicles (2 right, 1 left), post wash: 17mil, 94% motility and 89% rapid motility. BFN.

    June 3, 2016 - 5mg Femara cycle. 5w.
    Sep 1, 2016 - 5mg Femara cycle. 8w.

Our rainbow baby girl arrived on Mon Aug 28, 2017 - "After every storm comes a rainbow". We are so thankful and grateful for every moment.

Welcome Lace! I have everything Xed and am this cycle brings a BFP for you! I agree that Jensen Ackles is super yummy! There is something about Chris Pines's lips that I don't like.

I sure hope to see more BFPs this month! Anyone waiting to test?
