XX, maybe I should clarify I have a HUMONGOUS CRUSH on Chris Pine as James Kirk.

So really, I have a crush on Captain James Kirk, Reboot version.
    Me (38) and DH (38)

    early m/c Jan 2013

Cycle #1 @ HRC (Oct 2014) - 6 retrieved, 4 mature, 3 fertilized and biopsied. 1XX and 1XY abnormal. 1XX no DNA found, rebiopsied and found normal, frozen.
FET attempt #1 (Nov 2014) - cancelled due to functional cyst. FET attempt #2 (Jan 30, 2015) - NT. Remaining embie failed to thaw.

May 2015 - started infertility treatments at OFC. Femara 2.5mg
    July 2015 - BFP after second round of Femara. Aug 4 2015 - 6w4d
    Dec 21 2015 - mmc 7w1d

Apr 2016 - IVF Cycle #2. Converted to IUI because of uneven response and leading follicles.
Apr 19, 2016 - IUI with 3 mature follicles (2 right, 1 left), post wash: 17mil, 94% motility and 89% rapid motility. BFN.

    June 3, 2016 - 5mg Femara cycle. 5w.
    Sep 1, 2016 - 5mg Femara cycle. 8w.

Taytum, you make some excellent points. The biggest issue is that I'm basically disabled due to my back (I can't sit or stand for long without pain) and I live in the woods outside a village in a rural area. Which is awesome bc it is my life dream to live in such a place. But it is NOT ideal for meeting people, particularly other intellectuals, and I'd need to drive 30-60 min to get to a city. Driving is particularly hard on my back. If I were not housebound by my pain, I would totally just travel around to European cities and work my charm/extroversion. I need a mobile chaise lounge or something.

Lace, your chart looks great! I've been stalking it. Want to loan me your DH? Btw, if it's not obvious, the personality aspects are not requirements/dealbreakers for just sperm donation. All I need in a sperm donor are the physical aspects, intelligence, and decentness (I.e. not a mega jerk or serial killer).

XX & Lace, so happy you share my appreciation of JD. He is literally the only attractive porn star I have ever seen. Not that I watch porn (though I am considering a membership to JD's site lol). Being able to get hard AND come on cue is just so perfect for TTC! I literally only discovered him last week.

I would totally have Jensen Ackles' babies, too. But I actually find Jared Padalecki more appealing. I think part of it is the characters they play on SPN plus Jared's voice & super height are hot.

Chris Pine, meh. I agree about his mouth. His nose isn't great either. ST is awesome though!

Btw, if any of you DO have a DH suitable to donate sperm, and you're okay with that (I'd love for my children to have more siblings, even half siblings on another continent), let me know. Seriously. Costs covered. I could freeze a bunch of sperm here at a local fertility clinic for multiple cycles.

    My Ovulation Chart
currently TTC, Cycle #16 since last BFP

TTC #1 - swaying pink on & off since Nov 2013 - hoping for a girl first but excited for either!

Dec 2001 - May 2006 : 5 early abortions of healthy singletons (3 medical @5w, 2 surgical @8w, last 4 pregnancies conceived with late DH, all conceived while TTA/on birth control)
Mar 2012: miscarried B/G twins @5w (conceived 2 cycles after remověng Paraguard copper IUD while NTNP), one twin was ovarian ectopic

Me: 34, widowed, late O + short LP, normal-good hormone levels excepting undetectable testosterone, seeking a known sperm donor/life partner
My sway: vegetarian LE for over 28w, skipping breakfast, fibre (ground psyllium husks) with/before/between meals, physically inactive, drama avoidance, ocassional minimal YesBaby lube as needed, alternate cycles on low dose Clomid, double shot lattes (with meals)
Past sway tactics I've dropped (in order): Vitex, Sudafed, antihistamines, intermittent fasting, one attempt per cycle at positive OPK, one attempt in fertile period

Hmm....I'll consider bequeathing hubby to you in my will? Can I do that? *looks shifty*

Well most guys in straight porn are dogs, but that's because straight porn is made for straight men for the most part. The viewer base isn't really looking at the men in straight porn. There are a lot more hot guys in gay porn.

Jared Padelecki is WAY TOO TALL for me, LOL. But then I'm 5 feet tall, so hubby is just right being at 5'7". Any taller and I'd have a permanent crick in my neck.

And with Chris Pine it's the eyes for me, but then I've always loved piercing baby blues. I crushed on Luke Skywalker as a kid for heaven's sake! LOL

LOL Lace! I agree the guys in gay porn are much hotter and I totally get why, but all the gay porn I've seen (admittedly very little) has men too muscular for me, in that clearly gym body way that I really dislike. I like some muscle but it's got to be very natural, not puffy/overly bulgy. The exception is biceps. Biceps can never be too big IMO. I think Hugh Jackman as Wolverine has an amazing body. Also most soccer players and surfers. I love broad shoulders. So Junie, our taste may overlap a bit. I also find Alcide from True Blood attractive though he gets a little TOO buff in later seasons.

I'm serious about not cheerful. I actually like slightly depressed men. Too happy is boring/annoying. All my serious relationships have been with mentally disordered men.

Oh and blue eyes have always been my favorite. I wish I had them myself, and I lost my virginity to a guy with beautiful sky blue eyes.

Based on some movies I watched tonight, I will add Christopher Egan and Jason Dohring as acceptable donor candidates. British accents are so hot!

    Fx my temp spikes tomorrow.

Hahaha I love strong jaw lines and men who are big and strong. DH is a mechanic so his hands are really strong too. Must be the whole "protective/strong" thing for me. So funny how people can have such opposite attractions, but no matter what, British accents will always be hot.

Had one of those rush-you-the-bathroom moments to find a lot of slippery! Lots of cramps though. Feels like pre-period cramps. I hope this means actual O and not just follicles being made. We'll find out tomorrow morning!

Sounds promising Taytum! Mechanics are hot, too. I think every straight lady appreciates a strong jaw line!

The heating oil ran out overnight (or the furnace broke again, also possible) so I woke up freezing cold after 4 hours sleep. Of course this has to happen the day I'm hoping for a temp rise. I was hoping for a more substantial spike (98.4+). Guess I will BD again today if possible just in case. Bc it's so fun BDing in a freezing cold house!

maiden, your temp jump looks pretty good to me! But then I run cold and I tend to have a slow rise. Gotta switch to vag temping next cycle, mouth temps are so erratic for me.

I think your jump looks good too! It's a noticeable jump as well. I think given the jump and circumstances, I bet you still O'd! Yay! Like I said, I find being in the 2WW is so much better than waiting to O. I can keep my sanity a bit better than obsessive over it and waiting for it to happen. DH isn't a typical male "rabbit" so I always feel like I have to be really close to O before I begin to pin him down for daily BDing. Thankfully with the weekend we can have more opportunities but during the week it's tough.

Ugh. No real substantial jump today either. I don't think O has happened yet, even though it's going up from previous days. No intense cramps though today. I'll keep up with OPKs until positive or obvious jump! This is starting to look just like last month's chart...

I agree Lace. I switched to vag temping two cycles ago. Now that I my allergies are acting up, there is no way I could trust oral temping. It's interesting, my vag temps are a full degree higher than my oral temps!
