I went to the Dr to disuse my blood work and she told me that my thyroid level is still to high so she increased my dose. I'm really hoping that a few weeks on my meds will correct my thyroid and trigger ovulation for me. Unfortunately I'm very deficient in vit D along with iron. So I need to begin my vit D supplements again. I was hoping to avoid these as I know they sway blue

They can still get darker. Mine will do that a lot, they look like they will turn positive soon then lighten up for a few days and then turn positive. This cycle I didn't get a positive OPk until CD20, so keep testing.

Dream Vet
Purple, I haven't found/observed that specialists are more likely to prescribe Clomid CD5-9 at all. I think it's often drs /health professionals who are not up on the latest research (which shows higher odds of conception from CD3-7 vs 5-9, plus the importance of timely O on fertility meds in general), and those who are more conservative or set in their ways.
Jdd, welcome! I very, very strongly recommend you take your Clomid on CD3-7 instead, especially since you O late naturally. This is coming from a pharmacist and fellow late Oer + short LP who has taken Clomid.
XX, I see you attempted last night so good luck!
sharon, I would NOT jump to assuming you won't O merely bc your OPKs have been fkuctuating in darkness snd aren't yet positive on on CD14. True anov cycles are actually pretty rare. And remember swaying can make your surge/LH levels act differently and delay O. I myself got 2 days of lighter OPKs a few days before O, then an OPK as dark as before (the light line I'd had consistently before since I started testing on CD8) and then the next day I suddenly got a crazy dark pos OPK. So anything can happen, but you WILL ovulate eventually.
pinklady, good luck with your scan!
jenren, since deficiencies sway pink, and it can take a while to fully get your levels up, I wouldn't worry about necessary supplementation swaying blue. Especially as the deficiencies combined with your thyroid may indeed be negatively impacting your fertility. I hope you're in a healthier state soon.
My chart post O continues to be rocky and plagued by low temps. Even though my typical beautiful charts never mean anything, I still find this discouraging. At least i don't have my hopes up as much? I'm 8dpo.

Good luck xxforhubby!!
Maiden I understand about discouraging looking charts. I've found it such a relief to not chart this cycle although it certainly feels weird. My bfp chart looked terrible too so there's still hope
Tfahn how is your chart looking?
Sharon hope to see your opks darken to a pos really soon!

Well I did it! After reflecting on things the past 3 weeks I made the decision to stop ttc. I have binned my clomid, repeat script and bw requests. I'm free!!!!!! I know there will be days I'll be sad and wonder and even regret but this is the right decision of that I am sure! I can't wait to finish this cycle and get on with my life!! I'm not even upset to be finishing on probably my least likely chance cycle yet. I'm actually relieved my odds are so small. Wow that feels good to say!!

Thanks xxforhubby!! I've had one too many 'I'll just try one more cycle' so its very liberating to finally let it go, but its also been very hard! Not saying of course I wont have my down days, I wil, but I will get past them! My ds2 just turned 2 yesterday so we are approaching major milestones with him! Starting daycare 1 day a week, getting close to a big boy bed in his very own room and (fx fx fx) toilet training in the very near future!!
Jennypenny I seen you post in another thread that you're having your attempt tonight and wanted to wish you the very best!! Good luck girl! Hope you catch that egg!!

Atomic, this may sound crazy but I’ve been reading about moon phases… I have a ‘red moon cycle’ currently which I didn’t used to have. Meaning my period is coinciding with the full moon. From...
