Comments regarding DW's diet changes-

I started the LE Diet just as I was weaning my second son back in early Oct. I kept eating breakfast up until late November. I really started to get strict with the LE Diet around late Nov. I did not eat anything highly fortified, very little eggs,very little milk, a fat free yogurt a few times a week, no meat and only ate shellfish on the days when I had very little protein (but this was rare), no snacking at all!- only two meals a day and I tried to keep smaller portions. I stuck to 1500 cals or less. I still ate fruit and veggies but really cut back on fruit and peeled almost every veggie I ate. I did eat a lot of salsa- w/ onions and garlic in it but it was so good! I tried to stick to low sodium but it was so hard but I was almost always under 2000 mg. I ate a lot of Matzos, Pop chips, popcorn, rice, pasta, and corn.

Comments regarding DH's diet-

He still ate meat but only had red meat maybe twice in the entire time we dieted, stopped taking vitamins, nothing fortified, no eggs, no veggie or fruit juices. He did start eating greek yogurt towards the end- it's high protein so I hope this didn't hurt our sway!

Any Diet Details?

I loved Diet coke and Diet Dr. Pepper- tried to drink at least a can a day towards the end.

In the first month on the LE diet, I lost over 10 lbs FAST so I had to up my cals a bit. I DESPERATELY wanted to exercise and had actually started the intense cardio but at the time I started, I was already pregnant and didn't know it.

I had a big O when DH "went" in me- I couldn't help it!! After the attempt I quickly got up and j&d and wiped as much as I could- I tried to push as much out as I could. I was so mad at myself for allowing DH to go in me! Afterwards I layed down on my tummy to read a book then fell asleep on my left side.

Any additional supplement info?

DH took Barleans Olive Leaf Complex since late Nov so at the time of the attempt, he was on it for about 7 weeks. He took 2 tablespoons a day.

Did you do anything with Ions?

I smothered lavender lotion on the night of the attempt and I was using it for a few weeks before I got my BFP. I had a rock salt lamp at work, I used lavender bar soap in the shower, I started painting my nails a few times a week- very girly colors!

Things that make me feel great about my sway:

DH on OLE, starting the diet early and focusing on carbs, only eating twice a day & no snacking and keeping to low fat, me on top and J&D'ing afterwards.

Things that make me nervous about my sway:

This was an oops pregnancy but very much loved and wanted! DH and I really wanted to have our first attempt in March but God had other plans and I'm totally ok with that! I really feel nervous that DH wasn't on LR as we had planned, that is was a full moon on the night I ovulated, not exercising (this was the biggest thing that makes me nervous), not a lot of time on fiber, that I layed on my tummy after the attempt, Chinese gender chart predicts boy ( was right with my first two kids), the day of the attempt, I had a sweet potato (super healthy! I'm pretty sure I OV from my right ovary but will confirm in a few weeks!

Things worth mentioning:

I just want to thank everyone who gave me advice, especially the wonderful Atomic who is a fountain of knowledge and deserves an award! No matter what gender this baby is, I will love him/her and will be grateful for everything I learned here on this wonderful site!
