Feeling pretty good so far, only 5wks today. Little bit of breast tenderness, intermittent strong sense of smell and a bit tired but that's it so far, kinda hoping for something different than I had with my boys lol

Thank you ladies. Haven't seen a doctor yet as they are so useless over here about pregnancy sickness (basically think you're making it up unless you vomit on them), tried taking my trusty avomine (promethazine) which worked to some extent with both of my previous pregnancies, but they haven't made any difference (other than making me delightfully sleepy, which is blissful as when I'm asleep I'm not being sick) so have stopped taking them. Has anyone taken any meds in previous pregnancies that have helped? Hopper? It's just such an awful situation to be in, I was so determined to be healthy and strong for this little bean but I can't eat anything even vaguely nutritious and I am terrified to take medication, but also hate that I basically feel like I'm dying. If I had a few mins respite each day to look forward to I think I could get through it, but there is nothing!
On a less gloomy note, Congrats and welcome magical and hopper!

Foxcub- i take maxolon anti-emetic. Nil side effects for me. I've taken it half hour before food three times a day. Not sure what the equivalent is called where you live.

I have taken several but nothing eased mine! The oral ones made me worse so I was admitted for injection ones which gave me migraines. I found mine peaked at week 9 on both boys so hopefully you are coming through the worst of it and find some relief soon! My motto for the longest time was "whatever it takes" I would do anything to just make it through the day. The only thing that helped me was getting the IV fluids and even that was just for a few hours before it would start again. I'm trying to be optimistic that this is a different pregnancy, different baby so hopefully it will be a different type of illness - or better still no illness lol.

Hope i dont jinx myself but i have had severe MS with my previous 2 to the point that i passed out at work but this time other than that weird taste in my mouth and a little quiseness now and them i have been able to eat well. Had one episode of throw up sofar but i guess that was a combined result of pregnancy and lingering sinus infection

Atomic, this may sound crazy but I’ve been reading about moon phases… I have a ‘red moon cycle’ currently which I didn’t used to have. Meaning my period is coinciding with the full moon. From...
