Taytum how have the first few days been going?

I love the purple one Boyz!! And how awesome to get a baby shower with all sorts of little girl stuff!

Leaving the hospital was so scary! I didn't feel we were ready at all with our latch issues. We got home yesterday around 3pm and we got settled and continued to try to feed. He would latch, suck like 3 times, and pull off. Continued the whole time. Finally at 11pm DH and I supplemented him with an ounce of formula. He was restless all night in the bassinet so our sleep was minimal until I got up around 3;30 with him. He ate pretty decently at that time and we did skin to skin so I could sleep for an hour. This afternoon though I was so distraught so I used a shield that the hospital gave me and it was so amazing!! He latched right on and ate for 15 mins without un latching!!! I felt so great! We're going to use the shield until my milk comes in, so hopefully that's today or tomorrow.

Sorry it's so long...as a first timer I just feel like I analyze everything to make sure he's doing okay!
