You only get a steroid shot if you're dilated over a certain amount and/or having regular contractions per guidelines. L&D won't give them unless I meet that criteria. Neither will the stupid lady covering for my doctor. I already called and was told I could get the shot when I meet criteria for it. They are also onky given up to 32 weeks. Some places will give them up until 37 weeks, but evidence shows limited or no benefit after 32 weeks. That means I have a week left to try to get the shot.

Oh, so cute, Bunnygirl!! Hope those adorable faces stay put for you a little longer.
I'm just back from four days visiting my sister and her newborn baby boy. Ohmigosh, I forgot they start out so little! You'd think I would know that, but I was shocked how tiny he was. He started out about 6lbs8oz—two weeks early—but still bigger than my smallest! Wow. I've got to buy some small baby clothes just in case mine is that small. He was so stink cute though. I'm in love. SO hard to leave him.

Ditto here. I have to eat really small meals or I feel sick. I'm usually a big eater—probably why I'm a *tad* overweight to begin with—but not at all this pregnancy. I can do 3 meals and a snack, but they're all pretty little. About half the size of a regular meal. I'm up about 7 lbs from where I started total...but I did lose a bit during the first trimester, and I did start out at my heaviest adult weight.
I know with my first child, I was at my lowest adult weight—not underweight, but certainly on the slimmer side—and I gained almost 40 lbs. So the range of normal can be huge, right?

Wow those are huge ranges ladies. I am happy to report that in the last 4 weeks I've only gained about 1.5 lbs! My midwife actually laughed at herself and apologized for being overly concerned last time. I'm still going to try to be decent with my eating and will definitely continue to work out but I don't feel so worried now.

I successfully had my girl nearly 3 years ago thanks to an awesome plan from atomic. I have just started on Ozempic to try and lose some weight due to PCOS and it’s working well. Does anyone...
