Random alert.
I know this isn't a scientific thing obviously, but I always feel like I can tell who's turn it is for which gender based on the people I know who are pregnant and what they are having. Right now my SIL just announced she is pregnant with a girl. I know it's incredibly silly but I can't help but have his sinking feeling that the news means i am slated to have the boy next.

Anyone else feel like this?
Have I lost my last shred of sanity from the last year of swaying/starving, and hormones raging?

I just want to have a daughter with everything I have.

Hello! Hope it's OK if I join, thank you for invite xxforhubby (my hubby has wanted a girl more than me since #1, so not much pressure for me either!!!). I swayed for girl after 3 boys - probably due 30th October or thereabouts.

I am dreading telling people we're having a fourth full stop. My family will be up in arms, probably mainly due to the state of the world/environment. I'm so selfish. But yes, can't stand the stupid 'oh 3 boys, poor you!' etc at the supermarket.

Hello to all newcomers and congratulations !

So many girl swayers here !
I have my scan tommorow and I can't wait il be 7 weeks I think !

Today ... sore nipples, nausea, head aches , tired - and every morning (sorry tmi) without fail I need to use the loo !

XX- sorry to hear u have lost a little one in there like u say god has other plans for u and hoping this is a pink sticky bean for u and your hubby . Otherwise I'm glad the other baby is healthy in there !

I'm telling my two best friends tommorow and my two Nans - I know one of my Nans is going to be shocked and say something inappropriate but I'm prepared for it although I don't see why people feel the need to say silly things as it's none of their business !!!

I also had a very real dream last night that my baby died at 10 weeks - it was a boy - they cut me open and gave him to me and he came back to life so they put him back in - very strange

Yes i get you on the comments i dont know wrhy ppl even bother it really is none of there business and i think the gender disappointment wouldnt be that hard if it wasnt for the comments you get ..
I got one even before i was pregnant like why would u you know its going to be a boy , and i was like well im not ready for this to be over i want just one more !!! That shut them up lol..
Strange dream but when were pregnant its normal.to dream like that i keep dreaming of a baby but never knowing the gender very weird then i wake up ..

Oh the dreaded comments! So far we haven't gotten any. I'm surprised when we told my In-laws that my FIL was genuinely happy and surprised! I thought he'd make a comment about being done for sure! I'm pretty sure we will get comments as time goes on. I don't even look pregnant at this point, but I'm sure once I look visibly pregnant the stupid comments will start to pour in !

Just been and bought loads of pickled onion and gherkins as I really craving it tonight with garlic bread!
