Just wondering have any of you guys been asked to do the ice bucket challenge yet? It's doing the rounds in my family at the moment and I know it's only a matter of time before it comes to me! Do ye guys think it's safe to do while pregnant? If not I can just donate anyway without getting freezing I suppose

Crazycat - How exciting. Keeping an eye out for an update!
Daisymoo - I just got nominated last night. I emailed my ob and she said it was fine to do as long as I don't mind the cold. I work as a nonprofit fund development person (read:Fundraiser), and I will be participating and donating money to the organization that I work for. I encourage people to pick a smaller charity close to your heart if you donate. ALSA has gotten a lot of money and the popularity of this campaign could end up taking dollars away from us smaller orgs. Just my two cents!
I am going to South Lake Tahoe tonight for the long weekend. I am looking forward to relaxing at my dad's house up there, playing by the lake and doing lots of fun stuff with the family. Can't wait until 5pm.

I did the ice bucket challenge last night and it was fun! Cold but only for a second
I had a doctor's appointment yesterday. They surprised me by wanting to do an early glucose test because my last baby was big (9lbs 3oz) and they are worried this one will be too. I'm not at all worried about it. I'm proud of my big baby and kind of hope Micah is big too. They found his heartbeat immediately and everything looks good. I'll probably have another ultrasound in 2-4 weeks, whenever they do the measurement scan.praying and swaying

Okay, so it's official... we're having a boy!!! When I asked her how sure she was, she said money back guarantee, 100%, so I think we're safe :-) She also did a full anatomy scan while she was at it and everything is in it's rightful place and looking good! Below are our two obvious boy part pics, lol

Atomic, this may sound crazy but I’ve been reading about moon phases… I have a ‘red moon cycle’ currently which I didn’t used to have. Meaning my period is coinciding with the full moon. From...
