Hi ladies!!
Since you all are such experienced mamas I wanted to ask some advice! My little guy gets extra fussy at night- spends most of the night "sleeping" but grunting out in pain and sometimes crying out- it definitely seems like a mixture of gas and reflux. Crazycat mentioned probiotics which I have yet to try. We bought some simethicone to try for tonight but wondering what other ideas you may have? He's definitely uncomfortable and I'm certainly not sleeping and though he appears to be he's waking up exhausted as I don't think it's very sound sleep. So, ideas?! Thanks in advance!Mama to one 6 yr old and one 20 month old

I had two boys with hidden reflux. The second one we gave meds for it. Anti acids?
He needed it for almost a year. If its gas he will try to make himself like a ball and kick his legs. If it is reflux. He wil make his body taller!and arch his back.Mom to

Thanks sweetdream. I know for sure he has gas as he kicks his legs and grunts like crazy but he also spits up in his mouth and get's super congested at night which makes me think he also has reflux. I'm going to talk to the doctor about it if it doesn't get better in the next few days.

Congrats on baby Beth Daisy!!! How exciting.
Lala, I don't know if you've tried these, but have you tried using gas drops? Or placing baby at an incline at night? The rock n play sleeper is great for that. Also, when you change his diaper, try to roll him to the side instead of lifting his butt straight up by his legs/feet. That will help with gas.
As for me, I'm 38+4 (dd changed to the 5th) and feeling very ready! I think he could come any day now and I can't wait.praying and swaying

Lala my first two sons had gas issues when they were born and I used drops called Infacol You put a drop on his tongue just before a feed and it really is a miracle product Sorted all wind issues straight away

Thanks daisymoo! I'm using something that is the same as infacol- it seems to work so far though he's still having some gas issues and some reflux. I'm going to hold out for the week as there has already been some improvement and go from there. Thanks for everyone's input:-)

I successfully had my girl nearly 3 years ago thanks to an awesome plan from atomic. I have just started on Ozempic to try and lose some weight due to PCOS and it’s working well. Does anyone...
