I was the most stressed i have ever been (for lots of different reasons) when i conceived this time round. i was so worried it would destroy my sway by raising T levels but i am carrying a girl! Not sure how much stress impacts but high levels surely cannot be good for fertility?! In saying all of this i do not have a competitive nature so maybe this helped too.. I am looking forward to reading the essay on this! :-)

I will be looking forward to this essay. I assume you mean stress in the Woman does not sway blue. Will there be a comment on Men or do they not matter as much in that regard?
Re men, stress can sway pink for them as well with the same conditions - if it's a grinding, wearing type of stress that is taking a physical toll and/or they are not eating right, getting enough sleep, etc, absolutely that can sway pink. But hard-charging competitive guys who thrive on stress and are in great physical shape and take care of their bodies can be under great stress and still have boys. (David Beckham)
What you have to keep in mind is that at the end of the day, all this swaying stuff is meant to up odds of survival to reproduce, of the gender with the best shot of handing down the genes. Sadly, in bad circumstances, little dudes tend to have less of a chance of doing that then little dudettes do. Partly because of the nutrient factor, but also because girls are less likely to be killed for a variety of reasons. So if sh-- is going bad, it's best to have a girl. Our bodies don't know that we live in the modern world, they're still operating like it's 8000 BC and in that environment, a severely stressed out, henpecked mama or daddy meant better odds of survival to adulthood for girls. Whereas if the stress was "good" and competitive, like the sort the main chieftain of the tribe and his wife had (came from keeping the minions in line) then boys would have a better chance of passing down more of their genes. If we were a tribe and Posh and Becks were our rulers LOL, then naturally their boys would dominate and have more of a chance to pass down their genes.

That makes great sense, it is all so interesting.
The first part of stress you described is so my partner right now! Pitty we have to wait a while to TTC but for his sake I would rather him not still be that stressed until we do TTC. Poor Man

Can’t wait for the update! I’m a “lifer” when it comes to stress hahaha
My stress has stress. And then I worry about the kids, and all of my choices
I’m NOT competitive. My stress is definitely of the “oh no” variety hahaha
There is no changing that for me haha. I’ve tried! Lol
I’m always dying
Panic over decisions and then exhausted afterwards. It’s so so so unhealthy.
I’m so tired from it. Mentally, emotionally and even physically draining.

The other thing I’ve noticed is my stress causes “shutdowns” where I just go into hiding and lose all hope.
The breast lump issue the week of dtd? I was certain it was over. I had not an ounce of hope. I tend to “give up” with stress issues. Like I said, shut down.
My grandmother tells me I’m absolutely terrible in a crisis hahaha it’s so true.
I will stress that this incident is too much and just crumble.
I feel like I aged 10 years from that mammogram issue!
Instead of waiting for bad news, my brain just goes there right off the bat.
My therapist must be counting the days to my appointment hahaha

Just to clarify, I thought I read you have girls as well, Mums??
Boy moms do tend to be worst first thinkers but anyone would get low over a potential health issue!
Atomic, this may sound crazy but I’ve been reading about moon phases… I have a ‘red moon cycle’ currently which I didn’t used to have. Meaning my period is coinciding with the full moon. From...
