Longer time to conceive = more boys???
Hi ladies!
What do you think about this? I didn't sway but still find the topic fascinating? I thought that the longer it takes to conceive, the more likely you are to have a girl? What are your thoughts? And if it took you a long time to conceive, what was the result?

Interesting, a good friend who just got a BFP sent me this, she's hoping for a DD. She was super close to going in for fertility treatment, but at the 12th month got a surprise BFP. I told her I would post because I thought the longer it takes to conceive the less likely for a DS, because it's an indication of poor fertility. But I'm a recreational swaying reader and by no means an expert:-)

We got pregnant first cycle off the pill and had a boy. Generally people I know who took awhile to conceive had girls. But I do think if it's taking a while to conceive you are more likely to do multiple attempts and other stuff that sways boy. Interestingly, anyone I know who has had an 'accident' has resulted in girls.

I've always taken awhile to get preggo. With DS2 we were heading into cycle 14 and infertility testing even. We definitely were desperate and throwing everything but the kitchen sink at it just to get preggo, so yeah a lot of boy sway factors there.
I do have PCO tendencies and I used to weigh more with all my pregnancies, and I never exercised so definitely was on the overweight side. The weight can make PCO issues worse so that might've contributed to making boys too.

Guys, please don't read much into this. The numbers were not overwhelmingly different from 50-50 (as are ALL sway tactics in the real world). That's why we combine things - because none of this is in any way magic bullets. Just hypothesizing.

It took 2 1/2 yrs for us to conceive ds3. I have pcos, sle and aps. I do have to say even without realising it the previous months (before meds) we were only doing one attempt at +opk (not intentionally swaying girl at that stage), but the month i conceived we had 3 attempts in my fertile window. But i just pop boys out left, right and centre so i dunno lol

My son was a "hey! You're ready, I'm ready let's start trying!" 6 weeks later I took a pregnancy test and there was no mistaking how positive it was! But after coming to genderdreaming, I honestly am not surprised he was a boy (we were not swaying at the time) but reading through Atomics essays, my lifestyle and personality sway blue, big time!
