    DHEA, co-Q10, coffee and swaying

After reading the swaying data here over and over again I have a few questions:
First, I would like to understand why DHEA is recommended for blue swayers while co-Q10 is recommended for pink swayers? I know they work in completely different mechanisms, but bottom line is they're both claimed to boost fertility right? How strongly do they sway? Is it ok to take dhea as part of a pink sway?

My second question regards coffee- I understand that coffee is considered to sway pink. However, I've heard that caffein may harm implantation. Is that even true?

I don't recommend DHEA for blue swayers or anyone UNLESS they have had a doctor check their DHEA levels. In fact, it's very important not to just start taking DHEA without having your levels checked because it can render you basically infertile, and this takes months to work itself out (and as older moms we may not HAVE months) I do not recommend it for pink sways because it raises testosterone levels.

coq10 I actualy use for BOTH pink and blue. It lowers blood sugar and thus is ok for a pink sway on LE Diet (because your blood sugar will already be lowered anyway) For blue, it's still ok because on HE Diet, you could take it all day every day and never even have your blood sugar go down. So they get the benefits for egg health and also muscle mass without the risks of the lower blood sugar. these things don't work in isolation, it's as a part of the whole package.

There are many different facets of fertility and not all of them sway in the same way. We believe that things that make it easier for sperm to meet egg, sway blue. Things that help with egg quality in and of itself do not seem to sway either direction (that we know of). So not everything that's ever been said to help with fertility, necessarily sways blue.

Some studies indicate that caffeine intake may make geting and staying pregnant slightly harder. But I and virtually everyone I know got pregnant using it, even into our 40's. I used it at 41 1/2 when I TTC my daughter and all thru my pregnancy and I felt fine with that. But it's something you have to decide for yourself.

Just one more question please Atomic: I've been taking 100mg Q10 daily. Is that enough? (We've been ttc about a year and a half now, so far had 2 mc at 6weeks. I have 3 boys and swaying pink).
    Thank you xxx

RE's recommend up to 400-600. I'm not sure that's necessary (or even a good idea) but I do have some people use that much in your situation.

I take 100 a day myself and noticed no ill effects from it.

So, this is one of those things I honestly don't know - it's SOOO expensive!!!

I don't know, and because I don't know, I would not have you take it yet.
