Injections , cysts , follis , please help
Hi every one
This month I took jonal f injectiond . I had U/S at CD 9 and found 2 follies on the right measuring around 12-13 and one on the left measuring around 16 (im not sure about their sizes) and lots of small ones
The next day I felt ovulation pain , I used ovulation microscope and it shows ferning , next day ferning was less .
At CD 11 I had another U/S there was only one that grew up and the others were small !!
DR refused to give me HCG injections , she said that all the small ones will pop out and its better to ovulate on my own.
Also , there were small cysts !!
My questions are :
Could someone ovulate multiple time in a cycle?
Could the other small eggs have the chance to grow untill CD 18-19 ?
I want to do another U/S at CD 16 maybe? To check if they grow up or not!

That's normal. your ovaries develop lots of eggs in both ovaries every month and most of them just stay small and don't grow. It is likely that you'll only ovulate one or two of the larger eggs this month. (which is good on Gonal F as you can hyperovulate on that!)
You cannot O twice in a cycle. The pain you felt was probably not ovulation.

So if I had HCG injections the small ones wont pop out?
Hopefully 2 will grow , if only one grow up I will skip this month and try the next ,
We are using protection intercourse to make sure not to fall pregnant until we make sure that there're 2 follicle.

Most of your small ones never pop out. your ovaries make those every month and then only the best 1-2 eggs "win" the race. They stop growing and then your body reabsorbs them.
I really think it's a bad idea to skip months on fertility medicine!!! I know you want twins, but at the same time remember that this may be a great month for a boy for you, for all you know. you could end up skipping this month only to end up getting a girl next month! We just don't know and I think that since the medicine does take a toll on your body it's best to TTC every month when you are on them.
Good luck and blue dust.

Thanks atomic
I have a gut feeling that this month is meant to be and not to skip it.

Atomic, this may sound crazy but I’ve been reading about moon phases… I have a ‘red moon cycle’ currently which I didn’t used to have. Meaning my period is coinciding with the full moon. From...
