    Question regarding rephresh/replens. Help!!

**swaying for pink!** I just got AF on Monday (June 5th). My cycle is typically a very short 23 days. Past months has shown that I O on the 9-10th day past AF, which would be around June 14th or 15th. My question is...When should I do the replens/rephresh? My husband has been abstaining since AF began. We're planning on BD'ing 4 days and 2 days before O and that's it. Should I do replens 1-2 hours before BD? Then about 5 minutes after BD, if my cm is not still acidic. Is this ok or should I be doing it more?

I think dh abstaining has been shown to be a bad idea, I beleive daily release in some form but not attempting before hand with just one attempt around ov has been showing the best results

Thanks so much ELP. I'm glad I know this. There's so much info and sometimes you don't know what's good or bad! I hope my use of the Represh/Replens is being timed right! I'll wait to hear back on that one. Thanks again!

    Hi Violet!

Neither abstain nor daily release has had great results. So if he's already abstaining I'd probably just roll with it and not switch. The important thing is the one attempt. I'd personally have you skip the O-4 attempt and just do the O-2 one. With that short a cycle the odds that you'd conceive O-4 are nothing and it may undermine your sway so I'd let that one fall by the wayside since timing doesn't work anyway.

Do RepHresh every 3 days starting after AF ends and stopping 8, or 12, or 24 hours before you plan to attempt (closer may sway pinker, but really cuts odds of conception to nothing and since the results have been disappointing, I'd probably stretch it more like 12-24). If you want to add Replens onto that, please only use it BEFORE and not after. After really cuts odds of conception and I think once the sperm has been deposited it's not doing anything to help your sway anyway, it just kills a bunch more sperm.
