    Too much Robitussin?

I'm currently on CD17. Swaying Blue.
Been taking Robitussin since CD9. Started getting EWCM CD11 and have had it everyday since.
CBFM has been high for four days, but cheapie OPKs negative.

Is it okay to continue the Robitussin for this long?

I've also been doing Alka-Seltzer every day since CD10. I wasn't able to find Alka-Seltzer Gold so just bought the regular, but now I'm all of a sudden questioning if that was a bad decision (going with the regular).

Just wanted to check if there would be any negative effect on conceiving by taking these for this long.

    Thanks!

Eeks! I'm glad I asked! I'm in Canada and couldn't find the Alka Seltzer Gold anywhere.
Will keep up with the Robitussin though! Another High this morning, but still no Peak, and OPKs are still negative.

Is there a chance the asprin in the Alka-Seltzer could delay ovulation?

Very unlikely. It may make ovulation more painful but it shouldn't delay O.

What else are you taking??? anything?? Even something like a B complex vitamin, green tea, royal jelly/bee pollen??

    Robitussin
Garden of Life prenatals - been on them for over a year
    Vitamin D
    Folic Acid
    B12

I had to take Provera to force a bleed this cycle (first cycle since losing baby in April) so my body may just not be ready to ovulate yet, but I've had 9 days of EWCM straight and all negative OPKs, and on day 7 of High CBFM. Just getting really impatient as it's CD20 today.

Well, the vitex in the Garden Of Life may delay O. So I wonder if that coupled with the Provera may be delaying O (I often find that vitex is much more of a problem when it's started after some sort of hormonal medication such as birth control pills or provera) so it is possible to take it seemingly without problems and then find it starts causing problems when your hormones are in flux anyway. I would probably gradually switch over to some other form of prenatal with similar nutrient profile, not suddenly but just gradually over the course of a few weeks by taking them every other day, then every two, etc till you're taking the other prenatal daily.

Thanks for the advice. I feel like my body is trying so hard to O, and yet it's not happening. Then I get stressed out and I'm sure that also has a negative impact on me Oing.

I'm on day 8 of a High CBFM reading, but with it being my first month I'm not that surprised. Sounds like it's very common not to get a Peak reading your first month.

Finally my OPK today seemed very close to a positive, the closest it's ever been. Every other time there's been a test line, but no where near a positive. This time I actually had to look closely and compare the test line to the control line.

At this point I'm not even worried about getting a BFP this cycle, I just want a positive OPK to know my body CAN get pregnant.

Well, you can get pregnant even without ever getting a positive OPK so that is not as meaningful as you're thinking of it as being.

Yes, the "watched pot" factor does play a big role though. We aren't "supposed" to know when we're ovulating, that's why it's so hard to pinpoint!
