I have been pretty tolerant of the essential oil/ion crap but lavender oil is disrupting hormones and making boys grow breast tissues. This can't be good for a person planning a pregnancy. Are Essential Oils Safe? | Time
Proceed with EXTREME caution, if you MUST use them, stop at ovulation and do not continue using them in pregnancy. Don't use them on your kids or your husband. And be aware that just because something seems harmless, doesn't mean it is.
It doesn't matter on some of these things if they sway pink, blue, or plaid, they mess you up. We don't know the long term effects of any of them and I can promise, since people were getting baby boys and baby girls long before the invention of essential oils, they are not prerequisites for getting a baby boy or girl.

Wow, that is very interesting. I don’t personally use essential oils but I’ve thought about using them, more specifically using Lavender for relaxing and calming effect. Now it is making me second guess using it at all, and especially not before swaying.

I had been on my husband ro drop the lavendar oil he used in his beard oil for the silly ion reason. I've been on him about all of the rest of the ones now because of this! He can't afford anything else messing his sperm up!

He didn't start growing out his beard and using these oils until I was already pregnant with DD, so I am seriously wondering! He said he's going to stop using them and only put nut oils in his beard for conditioning since he just used them for the smell lol
Everybody drop those oils!

I suspect it has to be pretty concentrated like the oils are, but I honestly don't know. I would probably avoid them just to be on the safer side.

I don’t know the answer about the lavender products, I don’t know if anyone really knows the answers because the research is not all there. There are so many ways people are using these oils, drinking them in tea, inhaling concentrating doses, but a drop of diluted essential oil here and there is not likely to affect your hormones, in my opinion.
