Nervously preparing to TTC again!

I'm the mother of a beautiful one year old boy. We're going to start TTC in April, after we get back from a big trip this month.

I'm hoping to tip the odds in favor of a girl this time.

TTC was never easy for me. It caused me so much heartache. I seriously think I got PTSD from it! Before my son, I had three early miscarriages. I know it might be a bumpy ride, but I'm mentally preparing myself.

After reading through this site, I can see why I had my boy. I was obsessive about eating an extremely conception-friendly diet with no regard to calories (though I was a vegetarian and ate a ton of dairy!) and did everything to maximize my odds of conceiving each month with opks and those conception-friendly gels.

I can also see why my workout, diet-obsessed friend has had two girls. It makes a lot of sense! Much more sense than arbitrary timing and cut-offs.

Even with all the information here, I still have sooo many questions, so I'm very glad to have found this place.

I know what you mean about being nervous about starting to sway. There is so much info to sift through. I want to do everything that i can to sway the odds to pink. I just want to feel like i did everything i could. But this swaying stuff is hard. DH thinks I'm crazy.
