I got a bfp this morning!
Hi,
I can't believe I got a bfp this morning 9dpo! Very excited!
I'm a bit nervous about my sway though I ended up bd 3 day before ovulation and on what I think was o day? I got a positive opk the day before o and it lasted a few days (probably from the Vitex) so I bd day after first positive opk which I think was o day?

First positive OPK is not O day. That is 1-2 days before O so if you BD the day after that, that could have been a whole day before O. And since you had many days of pos OPK, all bets are off anyway because even THAT may not have been O day. Timing doesnt sway anyway so please don't worry about it, you needed that attempt because 3 days before that would have been slim odds of conception.
Huge congrats!!!!! Questions?? Check out the NEW and improved Complete Index !!!

Your sway sounds fabulous! What brand OPKs are you using? Are they pink handled by any chance? There are some that give many false positives. Wondfo from amazon are the best OPKs by far.
It's also possible your PCOS is causing the many positives, as that is very common with PCOS. Seems much more likely than due to Vitex, IMO.
Congrats on your BFP! First month, wow!Last edited by maidentomother; January 3rd, 2016 at 06:56 AM.

Past sway tactics I've dropped (in order): Vitex, Sudafed, antihistamines, intermittent fasting, one attempt per cycle at positive OPK, one attempt in fertile period

PCOS can cause numerous pos OPK but if it hadn't been happening and then started when you started vitex, I would tend to think it was the vitex. I have seen that happen to 2 dozen people on Vitex.

Hi,
Thank you for your responses! Yes I think it was the Vitex as I barley even had positives before. I used the first responce opks.
Hope you get your bfp soon too.

Hello, Atomic hopefully you will see this! It has definitely been a while. I am not TTC, my cycles have been MIA for over a year, I'm quite certain. I have not been charting but haven't had it....
Not sure where to ask not TTC
