    Hello

Hello all! I just came across this site the other day while I was google searching ways to sway pink. I have been looking up natural ways to sway pink for months though. I am 34 and have a DD 12, DS 10, YDS 18 months and are currently ttc our last baby and we really would like a girl this time. I don't have any fertility issues as far as I am aware of. Right now I am on a calcium/magnesium rich and low sodium/potassium diet. It is really hard to not eat bread or potatoes though lol. I started the diet 5 weeks before we started ttc and I am currently on cycle #2. I am taking cranberry, b6, super b complex, vitamin c, and prenatal vitamins. DH doesn't take anything to encourage sway. I am dtd with DH everyday, but am still unsure about when to stop or continue bd'ing after I get a + opk. I chart and temp and have regular cycles but O sometimes happen early in the cycle, cd 12, or late in the cycle cd 23. Most cycles O happens around CD 18. My LP also varies in length depending on when I O. I am hoping that I can pick up some more tips and helpful hints that will result in my baby girl. Thanks!

    Hi tinys.

We do things based on an entirely different set of scientific studies and theories than some of the other sites. Most of what you're doing is based on ideas with little to no scientific support or that have even been debunked but around here it's your sway, your way. The one thing I would really, really, really urge you to consider is cutting back on those supplements you are taking. We have very good evidence that nutrients sway blue and taking all those supplements may really be undermining your sway. I would have you wean off B6, super B, Vit C right away and reduce dose on the prenatals to 3x a week for now, and then over time you may want to even wean off the prenatals.

We have had best results with having unprotected sex just once in the fertile window. For reasons we do not know, in our results, one attempt has gotten about 70% or better success rates, this falls to 60-65% with 2, and all the way down to 40% with three attempts. Timing does not sway, it's been totally debunked, and most of us on here have 2-3-4 or more timing opposites but one attempt regardless of the day you do it, has been very successful for us.

I know it is frustrating and confusing when not all sites give the same info so please, anything you are confused about or want more info, just ask. I'm always happy to explain.

    Hi Atomic,

Thanks for the reply. That is the reason why I joined this site because there are so many and it is really hard to know what is right and what is not. I have weaned off of the B-6 already. I also stopped the cranberry once I got a + opk. I am also thinking that the Super B has really messed with my LP. I normally have a 12 day lp and I should have started my cycle yesterday. I took several hpt and they all come back bfn. I had a temp drop on 11 dpo followed by a temp spike, but I find it unlikely that implantation took place so late. So I will definitely stop the supplements.

As far as bd'ing goes I was going off of the premise that lower sperm count sways pink, hence the daily bd. Then once I got the + opk we would dance that day but then no more after that. I will totally try the only once in the window and see what happens. I am also going to see if I can't really stick to a LE diet. That is the hardest thing to stick to. If I have any more questions I will definitely ask. Thanks again!

Those B vitamins really do mess up LP!!! Totally!!

Do you think you could have had a delayed O??

Just ask any questions you have about LE Diet - a lot of times, people who think they can't stick to it, have a misconception about what it even is. It is not unpleasant or starvation level diet at all, it's just the lower level of a safe and healthy pre-pregnancy diet. And even if you can't do LE Diet, even just going vegetarian can help.

No I don't think I had delayed O. FF has me O'ing the day after my + opk confirmed by temps. Ill link my chart so you can look at it if you would like. I feel like I really messed up this cycle. I am 3 days late and have no signs of af and all hpts are still negative. I am having creamy/watery cm and I never have that before af so I don't know what to think. Any insight you may have would be great.

I think your O may have been a little later than you think - I can't tell WHAT day but I do see a couple of possibilities. When AF comes, we will know more.

Well af came this morning. Had spotting a few hours before bed so I knew it was really close. I am just glad that I am on to the next cycle. No more supplements for me.

So, I have read through the Complete Index and I am a little confused on the LE diet. So is doing an LE diet just basically eating empty calories, and keeping your blood sugars low? I really want to do this right. I think I can go partial vegetarian. I always have a little meat at dinner, cause that is what I make the rest of the fam.

I read through all of the statistics and can you please explain what 4 + cut off means. Is it where you dtd 4 + days before O but none after? And then the other one is bd'ing every 4 days. They both had the highest success %. So that goes with what you said about bd'ing only once in my fertile window right? Sorry for so many questions. Thanks

Can you think back to see when you may have ovulated?? Does it help shed any light?? Because it looks to me like you may have Oed a couple days later than FF thought and had basically no attempts during that period.

LE Diet is sticking in these limits:

1500-1800 cals for most (a few people eat a little more or a little less, this is just ballpark)
    40-50 g protein for most
    30-60 g fat for most

Low carb vegetables are free and unlimited (meaning you don't count them for anything and you have to hit the above totals without them
High carb veg and fruit are free for protein and fat, but count calories

Eating 2 or 3 meals a day, avoiding snacks, and pushing breakfast back a few hours or skipping it if you can

Avoiding or strictly limiting highly fortified foods like breakfast cereal and protein bars

Most people find that going totally vegetarian makes it easier to stick in the limits, but you can have meat now and then if you'd like.

Getting most of your protein and fat intake from vegetable sources rather than animal.

I always made the same thing for myself and my family, I just ate the sides and skipped the meat.

The statistics are misleading because different groups of people do the various tactics and so we have to be able to look deeper to understand what is really happening. I believe based on studies that most people who think they got pregnant with a 4 day or more cutoff were wrong about when they ovulated (because it is very difficult to get pregnant with that long a cutoff and studies have indicated that it's really difficult to pin down O to the day without blood tests or ultrasounds). But those people did have the one attempt, so it makes it look like timing was swaying when really it was the number of attempts. Overall, one attempt in the fertile window has been very consistent. I do not recommend anyone ever TRY for a 4 day or more cutoff because done correctly that has a small chance of conception (and the longer cutoffs like 5-6 days are next to impossible) but as long as you have one attempt, that's what seems to matter.

Every 4 days is just an easy way to have one attempt without having to think about it too much.

Thanks again Atomic. I think I understand. I will definitely keep track of what I do and for how long so I can help add to the database.

Hi Tinysmomma! Looks like we're kinda in similar boats in starting our sways. I had started taking supplements before for my last cycle and realized I wasted money on them after reading info on this site.

Atomic - For the "one attempt", does that mean our DH should do frequent release (on their own) before that? Or, save all their supply for that one attempt?

    TIA!
