Raspberry leaf tea
I have always drank rlt in all my pregnancies, but I read that you shouldn't if you have fibroids (I have one)
Just to confuse things, I have also read it can be good for fibroids and actually shrink them?!?
Anyone know what's right?
Thanks
Oh I have asked 2 midwives, not a clue :/

Hmm, I've always drank it from the minute I've found out I was pregnant and have had two very fast and easy home births. I have at least one fibroid that I can feel easily when I'm pregnant.
Me: 35 years old. Was an infant nanny and birth and postpartum doula. Now a full time SAHM.
DS1: Aug 2003 (my first home birthed water baby!)
DS2: May 2009 (my second home birthed water baby!)
Oct 2014
July 2016: Laproscopic surgery to remove a ping pong ball sized endometrioma on left ovary and 3 pea size fibroids on outside of uterus. Hysteroscopy to remove one larger "penetrating fibroid" inside uterus.
Oct 2016: Heartbroken after DH's vasectomy. Looks like my dreams of a daughter are gone.

I always drink it when pregnant, and I have a teeny tiny fibroid in the muscle of my uterus, facing up toward my abdomen (not actually inside of my uterus). It has never increased in size, and I too had very easy, quick labors from start to finish (both under 6 hours!)
I say go for it!

Oh gosh, so close now!
There is no way a little tea could measure up to the huge amount of estrogen your body is making right now due to pregnancy! I think this is a "cover our butts" recommendation and not based in reality.
Just in case, I'd prob. wait till 38 weeks just to be on the safest safe side.

My midwife said no sooner than 36 weeks, but 37 weeks (full term Is Safer) is what they said, and when I went to purchase it the health stores said the same thing, but I agree - it's a cover their butts answer.

Just wanted to mention I do not know a SOUL who started drinking RRLT and then suddenly went into labor (and I know hundreds who have used it) It is "just to be on the safe side" type of thing and I know I had some pretty wicked BH contrax after drinking it - but still went late with all 4 kids I used it with

Atomic, this may sound crazy but I’ve been reading about moon phases… I have a ‘red moon cycle’ currently which I didn’t used to have. Meaning my period is coinciding with the full moon. From...
