Scared cervix
I am now 19 weeks and days, my baby girl is measuring a few days ahead. I am so in love with her and now been crushed. Last week after sex I spotted which is normal w my pregnancies. But I had it checked out just in case. Everything turned out good cervical length was around 5.
I had my anatomy scan this past Monday baby is perfect cervix was measuring almost 5 about 4.75.
Thursday I called my doc office telling them I been getting pelvic front pressure aches happens when I move around a lot.
They had me come in a midwife checked me said I'm dialiting. I go for a scan , different tech she said you're fine your cervix is close and measuring 3.8 and perfect. I'm panicking becuz it shorter every time!
Was sent down to l&d no contractions a doc check me and consider me closed.
I still had the aches yesterday I went to hospital where I had all my children. Doctor did exam said my cervix is closed and thick and long, and to follow up w my scan and wait for my makena shots.
I have a follow up appt Tuesday and just can't stop crying, I was so happy finding out I am having a girl. Girl shopping and now I'm miserable!
My husband says I should stop stressing and everything will be fine.
I can't help but worry and pray.

If you've been checked that thoroughly, and people are telling you that your cervix is closed, I would try not to worry.
I found that the more pregnancies I had, the more painful and crampy they were.
I think you're putting way too much into their readings as they are all just estimates.!!! Questions?? Check out the NEW and improved Complete Index !!!

Thank u, I went to l&d Friday because my pelvic pressure wasn't going away. Scan showed my baby girl laying head down on my bone. Then she flipped a diff position and I felt better. Doc said I'm closed and my cervix length looked normal to on the ultrasound.
My doc wants me to see a mfm just to have a level 2 ultrasound to make sure everything is okay with my cervix and I need to see this doctor just in case God for bid something is wrong.
My dr likes to be extra careful. I go this Thursday and just been praying for the best for my baby girl and me.
Just want to enjoy being pregnant with her and have her full term, I waited so long for her.DS *11/07*

I successfully had my girl nearly 3 years ago thanks to an awesome plan from atomic. I have just started on Ozempic to try and lose some weight due to PCOS and it’s working well. Does anyone...
