Had scan and nothing left apart from last clot behind cervix. Had bloods to check hormones and again on Monday. Feel empty, probably worse once sonographer confirmed what I already knew.
I really thought something like this would never happen to me as no one in my family has had a miscarriage. I'm not sure if I can try again, I want to but so scared now I know I'm not invincible

I'm so sorry honey. Remember lots of women have miscarriages and then perfectly healthy and uneventful pretnancies. I hope you can find peace and try again when you are ready.

Oh Lady it's such a shock isn't it when you've have had perfectly normal pregnancies before and then bam you're hit with a miscarriage. I'm so sorry you're going through this, I lost twins back in May after 3 totally normal pregnancies and it was like a slap in the face, which still stings a few months on. Planning to ttc again took a little while to decide but now that we have decided too i feel good. Sending you big hugs xx

Sorry for your loss Unfortunately miscarriage is very common but knowing that doesn't help make it any easier. Take some time to greive your loss and think about ttc later. I was convinced I wouldn't try again last time but changed my mind. Being scared to try again is completely normal.

    Take care xx

Tara, I'm so sorry for your loss. I do want to reassure you, though, that most people do have at least one during their childbearing years. Most people never have a repeat after the first, and even those that do, can still go on to have a normal, healthy pregnancy afterwards.

It's totally awful, isn't it, especially after two or three halthy pregnancies. Take some time to grieve though and be looked after by your DH and enjoy your children and keep them close. A cliche, but time is a great healer and the chances are that there was something wrong with your embie hence the m/c at 9 weeks. Please don't give up though as it's so very common - I had no idea quite how common until mine, and no reason at all why your next pg won't be text book perfect. Hugs xx
