I have confused myself (pH/ions)
I read the TTC boy library, but then in comments I have read that pH and ions don't matter. And even some timing and diet things that i have seen in comments seem to contradict what is says there. I looked at the awesome statistics page and it seems like something is making sways successful. Does having a boy just come down to having more EWCM and that is it, so supplements to increase amounts? Do food, pH, ions, timing, none of it truly matter?

More nutrients = more boys ions timing doesnt matter hydration,drinking lots of water + supplements increases ewcm

Gender swaying is a work in progress. WE are doing this research ourselves and it takes time. When we started the site in 2011 we were pretty much operating under the assumption that the old school ways must work, but then the more research we did and the more stats we've collected (both from boy and girl swayers) it has become apparent over time that a lot of the old stuff is just sheer and utter nonsense.
Now that having been said, some people do still want to do the old stuff and I keep the how-to's up so people can do them SAFELY because the way they do things on other sites is very dangerous sometimes and really cuts odds of conception. BUt that doesn't mean that I necessarily endorse that stuff.
NO, swaying boy DOES NOT come down to having more EWCM. Honestly, we don't know WHAT works for swaying. We can guess and we have our theories but we do not have the information to know for sure. So you have to let go of the "Nancy Drew" tendencies and just try to do what is working best for people - HE Diet, weight training, improving fertility overall for both you and DH.
Food absolutely does matter, mineral balancing doesn't.
pH seems to make no real difference
IOns for blue are dangerous and will only harm both sway and health

OK thanks! So basically diet is the thing to do, gotcha. It makes it easier not having to worry about all those other factors.
