Already slim but want to sway for a girl, help!
Hi everyone, this is my first post but have been reading this site for while now and getting to grips with what's involved with swaying. I would like to do LE and the cardio but I'm a little concerned that as I'm already slim, BMI of 20.4 (BMI was 21+ when I conceived my boys) i would end up losing too much weight too quickly and running the risk of losing ovulation. Just wondering if any of you amazing ladies had any thoughts on what I should do? I would like to TTC in November.

Hi and welcome . I'm in the same boat. My BMI is 17 and I have a history of HG (severe morning sickness) in pregnancy. Which is probably why I have DS2 and 3 as I was trying to put on weight before TTC so I would have extra to loose during pregnancy. We aren't TTC for about a year but when we do I'll get a personalised plan so I can get personal guidance with the calories and weight loss/holding aspect. I'm also hoping to find a good balance between swaying and getting pregnant quickly which I'm sure AS will be able to help with.
Anyway, all the best for your sway and TTC journeyVery blessed with

AS will have great advice for you, but I'd stick to the highest limits of LE (1800-2000 calories) and focus on maintaining your weight while using a LF/veggie diet. It's still possible to sway pink while just maintaining your weight. The main thing is getting very little protein and filling your calories with empty carbs and little fat.

Due 7/13/2015 ! Swayed pink and I am blessed to be with and (TWINS!)!

Thanks ladies! Need to start tracking what I'm eating I think to check my calorie intake. Anyone using an app other than myfitnesspal?
So refined carbs are things like white bread, pasta and rice, yes?

You just eat the upper limits of calories or even exceed them if you must, while still picking LE Diet-friendly foods, reducing nutrients sensibly by eliminating vitamin pills and highly fortified foods, and sticking in protein and fat limits as best you can. You don't have to lose weight on LE. It's just one tactic that may help some people, whereas it may not be right or necessary for everyone.

My BMI is 20 too. I'm watching my weight and I'll let it drop a few pounds but then I'm going to be adding empty carbs to maintain. I'm watching it pretty close as I'm doing exercise 60 mins 6-7 days a week

I just posted a very similar thread! I'm also new and wondering the exact same thing! My bmi is below 20 and I can't lose weight and am not good on diets as I get too hungry... But will do the cardio! Any thoughts when to start it? We'll ttc in Jan or so and I've been just getting my body used to some exercise at the moment, so running 3-4 km distances couple of times a week.
