after months of LE diets, do you start to crave for "avoided" foods?
I've been on LE diets since Jan. Just when I thought Im used to the usual diets, my body recently started to crave for those foods I tried to avoid most of times. Eg, Salmon, Red meats, foods with higher sodium etc.
Is this signal something that Im not on the right track of LE diets?I didnt calculate how many calories, protein etc that I eat everyday.5yrs old

Princess - maybe your body is low on zinc or some other nutrient after being on the diet for so long, this is definitely a question for atomic!
I've only been on the diet for 4 months but I have found as time goes on, the foods I used to eat all the time gross me out. The idea of eating a burger or eggs or fast food makes me sick to my stomach. I do worry though there are some nutrients that are in red meat that my body will crave if I go without it long enough!DS1 (2012)

I think it might be different for everybody, but I have found after that I am craving less of what I used to want (meat, chips, salt). As more time goes by the more I am craving sugar. It may have to do with what nutrients each individual person is lacking though. I am not sure if it signals that you are doing something wrong though!

No, it probably means you're getting overly depleted and may need to eat some of those things regularly and then have a couple planned cheats.
You can have sodium, most of us have given up on that restriction.
If you've been on LE Diet since January it's time to change it up a bit anyway. I'd add in full fat dairy 1x a day, 4-6 eggs a week, and 1 serv. salmon a week.
RE the red meat, remember, cheating on LE Diet is actually MANDATORY because it allows you to sneak in things that your body may need a bit of. So I would figure out what it is you really want and have a cheat or two involving that food. Hamburger, steak, etc.
ARe you taking the additional supplements after having been on LE that long?!!! Questions?? Check out the NEW and improved Complete Index !!!

Anyone on LE Diet longer than 6 months needs to add:
zinc 8-15 mg 3x a week
iodine 150 iu daily (continue into pregnancy)
if you have heavy periods and/or are eating little to no meat, add iron 18-30 mg 3x a week
If you are totally vegan or eating barely any eggs or dairy, add the lowest dose b12 you can find 1x a week!!! Questions?? Check out the NEW and improved Complete Index !!!

thanks for the advices atomic.
my diets are mainly green, white rice, pasta, chicken and fish.
Once a week, eggs and toufu.
daily drink coke light and peppermint teas.
Then milk or yogurt twice a week when i remember to.
i only had folic acid (almost everyday) and zyrtec (AF to O on every cycle)
look like i need to have two or three cheat meals to overcome my craving and add on those you mentionedLast edited by princessCharlotte; July 30th, 2014 at 11:40 AM.

Yes, that is not a very good diet for getting enough nutrients and no wonder you're having cravings after eating that for 8 months.
You can't take folic acid only "almost every day" - not good enough.
Please add in the extra nutrients and foods and make sure you get folic every single day!
I would drop the pep tea at this point and reduce Zyrtec to one on the day of pos OPK!!! Questions?? Check out the NEW and improved Complete Index !!!
