OPK positive, should I BD again?
This is my last chance for ttc.. my hubby deploys and this is our last cycle (so glad I got one last chance). We BDed 2 days ago, trying for the 3 days before ovulation, but I'm worried I won't ovulate in time and all his guys will be long gone. Should I just cross my fingers and hope I actually ovulate tomorrow? I also got a big temp drop this morning, so I'm leaning towards no more sex. Help please! TIA!

Deployment looming is tough! But Timing doesn't sway!! You don't need a 3 day cut off, it's so hard to time o anyway and you get all stressed when it doesn't happen according to plan. This is why atomic suggests one attempt at +OPK, takes the blue swaying stress out of this. I'd switch to the every 4 day method. That way you get one attempt no matter when you o. One attempt is getting great results regardless of timing. If your DH is deploying and you really want to get pg I would do another attempt, maybe bd every 3 days to be sure you catch the egg

I plan on doing every 4 days until my hubby leaves....if I were you I would probably try once more before he leaves (if he is leaving soon). Good luck!

Also, one attempt vs 2 doesn't hurt your odds of pink that much. If my DH was deploying I wouldn't stress about having 2 attempts in the fertile window and would go ahead and have a second attempt as far apart from the first as you can manage, even if it's still in the four day window since your last attempt.

Well, I would never have advised going for a cutoff in this situation but here we are.
If pregnancy is more important than TTC a girl, have another attempt. (it may be too late now anyway) If a girl is more important and you're ok with waiting then stick with one attempt.!!! Questions?? Check out the NEW and improved Complete Index !!!

I successfully had my girl nearly 3 years ago thanks to an awesome plan from atomic. I have just started on Ozempic to try and lose some weight due to PCOS and it’s working well. Does anyone...
