Happy So much sugar on LE diet??!!

I have been playing around with/testing out making LE diet work for me (not ttc yet) and see on my fitness pal that I go waaaaay over on sugars every day. Is this normal or ok? Some of that sugar IS from fruit, so that makes me feel better about it, but gee! I don't now if I could get in all the calls without having such a high sugar count, though.... Thoughts? =)

The point of the LE diet is to get the majority of your calories from carbs. The reason for this is in studies, it has been shown that more girls are conceived when the mother eats less fat and protein and more carbs. I don't look at sugar while on LE at all (ignore what MFP says for sugar!). Normally I eat paleo/low carb, so while I'm not advocating a high carb/high sugar diet is "healthy", I do think it sways pink based on the girl moms I've seen and the success stories on this site!

Also don't forget you will only be on it for a few months so it's hardly something which will damage your health in the long run!

I'ts fine as long as you don't have insulin resistance or PCOS, and if you're under like age 38 and not overweight.

if you inexplicably gain weight or else your cycle gets really long and you start having tons of positve OPK, then you may have some tendencies in that direction. Otherwise you should be good to go
