Ions and clomid questions

Yes, Clomid is the drug that brings about ovulation. It can be difficult to get if you don't need it. You will need to get it from a doctor's office via prescription.

Ions are this silly idea that I do not believe works at all. There are tiny electrically charged particles in the air all around us that are called ions. Some are positively charged, some are negatively charged. They actually may be beneficial for health in some ways (the negative ones, not the positive ones.) The idea is that some how, these tiny particles go up inside the vagina if they're all around you, and are also in your cervical mucus (that is actually true BTW) and that they magnetically attract the sperm to the egg. But that is NOT how it works. THere are several reasons ions simply can't work and here are a few.

1)sperm have been tested and found not to have different electrical charges between X and Y. Nor are the eggs believed to have charges. Only the eggs of sea creatures have electrical charges.

2)Ions are so very tiny compared to sperm, it would be like trying to attract a jumbo jet by having some guys wave magnets around in front of it.

3)If there really was some strong charge pulling egg to sperm, it would be so powerful that it would actually mess up the internal workings of your body because ions are EVERYWHERE in your body doing stuff and if it was a matter of simple charges, everything would be getting pulled to the egg.

4)Sperm are able to swim for a reason and it's 100% proven that there are chemical attractants that the sperm can "smell" and then they swim there with the help of currents of cervical mucus flowing around. No ionic attraction required.

5)If the idea is that the pink diet makes these negative ions, and then also negative ions are supposed to flood in from outside, like charges repel each other and the ions couldn't even get up in there anyway.

6)Everyone's CM has the same ions in it anyway. That's just what CM is made out of. If you looked at any of your body's fluids there are ions in it. The presence of ions in CM doesn't prove that they do anything for swaying, since there are ions throughout the whole body.

7)The info on ions and diet and pH doesn't make any sense chemically anyway with what their claims are. The hydrogen in acid is actually POSITIVELY charged and then bonds with whatever comes along (usually water) to become neutral. Calcium in its naturally occuring state is positive - so why are you flooding yourself with negative ions again?? How can negative ions sway pink, if people are at the same time using acidic douches and taking gobs of calcium at the same time. IT MAKES NO SENSE

Ions are one of those things that tons of people use in their sways. For pink, there's no harm in it but I would not sink tons of money into ion gadgets and above all else, NEVER use ions to counteract issues with the things that really sway - diet, exercise, one attempt
