when and how frequently to check cervical PH

What time in the cycle should i test the cervical ph just to get an idea of whether its where i want it to be or not ?
and how long after starting the HE diet should i expect to notice any change ?

As far in advance as possible but definitely by 6 weeks before.

1000mg Fish Oil
2000mcg Folic Acid

Ok i am starting in may for a august september attempt.
Now my prenatal has 800 mcg if folic acid as well. So can i take 2000 mcg inaddition (2800mcg total) or 1000 mcg in addition (1800 mcg in total )
I am kind of co fused at this

It is not necessary AT ALL and we saw such unreliable results with it that I have all but dropped it.

People were testing the wrong way, at the wrong part of the cycle, and beyond that even those who were doing it correctly were getting tons of opposites (including me, I got a boy with pH of 4.5 that did not vary for weeks!) and it just seemed to stress everyone out with no benefits.
