    Oh no! Hurt my back.

Any exercise injury minded ladies out there? I generally have always been a runner but started doing insanity in May of this year. In mid July I transferred over to doing weights for 40 minutes a day and recently added in running in the evenings for 20 to 30 minutes. Yesterday when I went to set the baby down my middle left side of my back spasmed and has been sore ever since. I skipped my workouts today but don't want to stop doing it because this is our first month trying.

I had an issue like this in April and ended up having to take medicine to heal it. Plus a week off of working out. This one definitely feels less painful but I'm not sure what I should do to make sure it heals? Can I do weights but much less intense and walk on the treadmill instead of run? I want to still be boy friendly.

Yes, that is what I would do. THey have studied it and found that stopping activity actually makes back injuries take longer to heal. Just go easy.
