Swayed for blue but thinks it's pink

Am 9 wks pregnant.
Positive opk in oct 1st and dtd same same day and next 2 days.
Due date June 25th conception on oct 3rd
Since I conceived after 2 days of positive opk I feel it's a girl

Why do you think it's a girl??? I'm confused.

You had more than one attempt in the fertile window, which has gotten good results for us for boys.

You can't tell when you ovulated on the basis of how long OPK stay positive for. You can ovulate and still have positive tests for a day or two after, or you can have a short surge where you don't ovulate till after your OPK go negative. Just because they have the conception date on Oct. 3 doesn't mean that is for sure when you ovulated. It could easily have been on the 2nd or even the 1st. If you did conceive on the third that means you got 2-3 attempts in fertile window which is good for a boy anyway.

Thank you..for giving me hope. Some how I felt I dtd early and I ovulated late,
But The opk was negative on October 1st nite. Hopefully Y catched the egg.
Will update in couple of weeks since I will be doing genetics test and will know gender early.

If you hadn't even gotten a positive test on the 1st, I think you were in with a good chance.

I was devastated at 11 wks when we found out it's a girl from verifi blood test. I still had hope and wished it would be wrong and anatomy confirms a boy.
We had our anatomy scan yesterday and tech couldn't see boy parts & said might be girl.
I thought I was over the GD but I am not. I don't feel connected to this baby and not excited about the movements or shopping. Haven't bought a thing yet. I don't know what to do to get over the disappointment.

My close friend has the exact same reaction, they have 3 girls already, and number 4 was their last attempt.
When they found out it was a girl, she was devastated, to the point where she even spoke about a late termination (that's how seriously upset she was).
Over the course of the pregnancy she said the feelings of disappointment faded, and she started to feel more connected to the little pink life growing inside her.
She gave birth to a beautiful baby girl on December 25th, and she says although she will always feel a little GD - she is completely in love with the new baby.

I know every situation is different, but I wanted to share her story with you in the hope it brings a little comfort.

It does take time, I know only too well that feeling of 4 in a row. But remember what they say, 4 of a kind is a winning hand.
