Question about how long to wait since stopping BC???
Hey guys,
So I took out my last nuva ring in the end of January. How long should I wait until TTC? I have been thinking about starting our first attempt next month. Is that too soon? I know that BC sways pink.

My midwife gave us the go ahead to try whenever we were ready and I got PG my first month off BCP. I'd imagine you can start trying next month!

Curious if there is a recommended length of time for a blue sway too. I was planning about 6 months.
DD1 (2014)
DD2 (2016)
Our
sway is getting into NOW or NEVER territory

I think the consensus is just the longer the better for a blue sway? But I'm sure someone will come along with more knowledge. I got my first girl a month off of bc and my second girl three months off so this time I stopped bc months ago to get a really long length off of it. But of course my lifestyle was extremely extremely pink friendly with both girls and I had no idea about swaying!

Oh goodness, I didn't realise I was replying in the TTC a boy board 😶 so you may not want to take my advice!
That being said I have two boys, one 5 months off BCP and the other 1 month off, but I have always had a boy friendly diet.

thanks ladies. I really hope to wait maybe a couple more months but I'm also just really ready to get pregnant. so it'll be 3 months if we try next month. I know atomic said bc sways pink so I was wondering if there was a good rule of thumb.

12/14 9/16 ...
Blue swayers need to be off hormonal BCP for at least 2 cycles ideally

Longer is better, but at the same time blue swayers will sometimes find it so nervewracking to try that they end up waiting and waiting without TTC always finding some reason not to. By that time they gained 30 lbs and end up back on a diet to lose weight LOL!

Atomic, this may sound crazy but I’ve been reading about moon phases… I have a ‘red moon cycle’ currently which I didn’t used to have. Meaning my period is coinciding with the full moon. From...
