Artificial sweeteners
Are diet drinks really bad for ttc blue? I drink 1 or 2 7up free a night (drink 2l of water, tea and 1 cup of coffee a day too) probably a bit late to worry about it now but thought I'd ask! Maybe swap for fruit juice?
Thanks to anyone who can be bothered answering lolMummy to

I definitely think it's worthwhile swapping for fruit juice.
As a mum of two boys I hardly ever drank soft drink or coffee and had no artificial sweeteners ever.
I would drink lots of unsweetened tea with milk, juice ( Apple, orange, black currant etc) and choc/vanilla flavoured milk (full fat) for a treat sometimes.
I drank lots of water too like 2-4 litres a day!
Good luck xxProud Mum to two gorgeous boys

Personally, I doubt they do anything. I have seen people (back on IG, as I don't allow it here) drinking utterly mindboggling amounts of artificial sweeteners and getting boys.
BUT.
Here is the catch. Virtually all of those people HAD boys already. So what you have to ask yourself is, is this worth it to you, the enjoyment you get from the 7 UPs, to have any feeling that it might mess with your sway?? It very well may be (after all, I personally cheated and had sugar in my coffee every day when I was swaying pink, which you're not techically supposed to do because it was not worth it to me to be that miserable for a sway that may or may not even work!). I'm just saying if you can stand to give it up, it may be worth it to you to try to make a switch.
Something I'd suggest investigating is the flavored seltzer waters or club soda - you can mix 1/2 and 1/2 with juice for lower cals (drinking tons of juice can cause you to gain weight pretty quick). Some have said drinking seltzer to excess may sway pink (altho club soda should be ok) but one a day will not hurt anything esp. when mixed with some fruit juice.!!! Questions?? Thank you
I just hate sugary drinks so maybe the soda/fruit juice would work for me! I was also worried about all the extra calories drinks carry. I'm sure I could do a swap!Last edited by Babybeaublue; May 24th, 2017 at 01:26 PM.

Hi everyone! I am 2 weeks away from the 12 week mark for the LE diet, I was planning on trying to conceive next month. I have been tolerating the diet really well and am no longer really that...
