No alcohol is calorie free (far from it) and all alcoholic drinks, even straigjt liquor, should be consumed with meals just like soda.
My Ovulation Chart currently TTC, Cycle #16 since last BFP
TTC #1 - swaying pink on & off since Nov 2013 - hoping for a girl first but excited for either!
Dec 2001 - May 2006 : 5 early abortions of healthy singletons (3 medical @5w, 2 surgical @8w, last 4 pregnancies conceived with late DH, all conceived while TTA/on birth control)
Mar 2012: miscarried B/G twins @5w (conceived 2 cycles after remověng Paraguard copper IUD while NTNP), one twin was ovarian ectopic
Me: 34, widowed, late O + short LP, normal-good hormone levels excepting undetectable testosterone, seeking a known sperm donor/life partner
My sway: vegetarian LE for over 28w, skipping breakfast, fibre (ground psyllium husks) with/before/between meals, physically inactive, drama avoidance, ocassional minimal YesBaby lube as needed, alternate cycles on low dose Clomid, double shot lattes (with meals)
Past sway tactics I've dropped (in order): Vitex, Sudafed, antihistamines, intermittent fasting, one attempt per cycle at positive OPK, one attempt in fertile period

Except when your in cuba right?!? Bahaha!! I'll try and behave ;p im breastfeeding anyway so I don't go crazy; but I'm quite sure a few nights we'll be having a drink or 2 after hours. I'll let Mary out to play

No they're definitely not free of calories that's why I said I use them up boost my totals if I'm short at the end of the day. I say empty as ii drink that instead of eating a Big Mac to boost my calories, that's not empty calories as it would make me go over my protein allowance to. Wine wouldn't do that

I knew what you meant. And I figure too if I'm skipping breakfast im fasting for sometimes 18 hrs so if I drink one night and wrap it up for 10pm and still fast til noon it's still 14 hrs of fasting if I eat at noon. I'm not going to beat myself up where it comes to a few drinks on vacation where I'm supposed to be learning to relax. I'm Ocd with very little Mary in me. My goal is to become so fricken zen that I'll make a sloth look motivated lol

Yes with my sway I am just making sure I do stay in my totals and don't be such a stress head. I think stressing over it all could really harm our hard work!! Hope you have a wonderful holiday! I'm very jealous! lol x
