Alcohol question

With us not snacking, is it ok to drink beer/wine later on in the evening? Or is it best o just consume it with meals?

I always have mine with meals.

I have mine in the evening to boost my calories if I'm short, it's fine to have in evening it's not snacking and just longs it stays within your days totals for calories, it's empty calories

I can't comment as to beer and wine (I drank 2 glasses of wine per evening - 1 with dinner, 1 after), but if you're drinking hard alcohol with no sugary mixers it's 100% fine to drink whenever because hard liquor just lowers your blood sugar without giving you any nutrients.

And so I guess so long as we've fasted for long enough after too? Like even though it's empty cals, if we drink till midnight (as if THAT ever happens, but I'm going to Cuba and don't want to deviate too much) is waiting til noon to eat long enough?

I'm sure noon will be fine, thing is with empty cals I'm pretty sure it doesn't keep your blood sugar levels up which is what we're aiming to keep low, that's why it's called empty calories I believe.
