Thinking of dropping Vitex
Seems that for pink its getting less than stellar results anyway but I still Felt I should have *something* to give me an edge, especially if I can't get Clomid or femara; but I'm on cd 37 and I still don't know if I o'd. (Not one Pos opk)
I don't know if the cycle issue is the vitex, the diet or just plain irregularity since I just got Af back in March.
I have an appointment for femara or Clomid (I am asking straight up for it), and if do Get it (FX!) I will drop the vitex for sure.
If I don't.... I may still dump it, or at least go af to 0 (hopefully next cycle I'll know when that is). This is sort of the last piece to my sway puzzle -
Everything else is in place.

I tell ya, I may be the minority, but I wanted to share my experience. While there may have been other factors at play to decrease my fertility, Vitex messed with my regular ovulation and took four months to become regular again. If you are over 35, I would really give pause and consider if you have the time to spare if it messes things up.

also got my daughter the month after stopping vitex, of course, and it's not just people on this site who got DD this way, this dates back to IG days.
Did you ever STOP the vitex?? anyone who is on CD 37 NEEDZ ta stop the V.
We are getting best results taking it from CD 1-14 or pos OPK whichever comes first. I feel like taking it all month for months on end has not worked out for us because virtually everyone is seeming to have their O stop when doing it like that. Bafflingly, this is how nearly all naturopaths are advising people to take it so if you know of anyone on any other site who is taking it and not getting pregnant on the behest of an herbologist, help me spread the word!

and I have to say, gals, I am finding it harder and harder than ever to believe that the people on a certain website which will go unnamed could possibly have been telling the truth about what they were doing when they fell pregnant. They were all taking V and SP all month long supposedly, the impossible timing, the 6 month long abstains, not to mention all the limes that gave their green, bumpy little lives...

I did stop it; and yes you have my word that I will be sure to tell people not to take it all month, with no stopping!!!

I took vitex for a few months before I conceived my boys. The second time I took it was while nursing, trying to get my period back. And it didn't help me get my period back.

No it's an odd little herb hey? Some people respond to it the way we thought it would, but for us, not so much.

I do believe it sways pink or I wouldn't recommend it. Each individual has to weigh the risks (messing up cycles) to possible benefits. I do feel that compared with IG, lots of gals on this site are in a bigger hurry to get pregnant. Many people on IG were ok with it taking 9-12 months to conceive, by which point maybe people's cycles recover from the V?? Not sure.
Atomic, this may sound crazy but I’ve been reading about moon phases… I have a ‘red moon cycle’ currently which I didn’t used to have. Meaning my period is coinciding with the full moon. From...
