Ions!
Just a bit of fun to see what ions everyone is using to get some extra pink dust our way! Yesterday I bought some lavender bath oil and scrub. You can imagine my horror when I poored the oil into a hot bath (after I had done some insane cardio pfew!) and it was BLUE! Major jinx!! The bottle was purple like it's supposed to be, so I was pretty bummed out it was blue. It smelled great though and tcc is still months away, so I took my bath anyway I also ran a bath with lavender for my boys, can't hurt to surround everyone with lavender, right? Tonight I want to start painting my nails and want to continue this, every shade of pink I have (and I have loads, just never use it as I don't have the time anymore, but now I'll make time!).
What are you girls doing ion-wise?Mummy to a girl, born sleeping & two gorgeous & loud little boys

Te he he I don't believe in it at all.. BUT that didn't stop me buying a salt lamp (which I really love! Got the nicest, softest light!) and putting a piece of rose Quartz by my bed! Figure it can't hurt! Might have to get some lavender bath wash next

Lavender is blue so they were just trying to emulate the color of the herb.
Ions don't work for swaying anyway but feel free to use the oil or lotion, paint nails and so on. BUT that having been said I do worry about doing too many projects (like forcing self to remove nail polish and repaint nails daily) when swaying. If you were a nail tech and worked around the stuff all day every day, it might sway. painting one person's nails even 1x a day simply can't affect a sway and the detail oriented anxiety/pressure you put on yourself to complete the program every day while busy with your life may even sway blue.
PS - blue swayers, DO NOT use ions for swaying as positive ions are harmful to health and the idea doesn't work anyway.!!! Questions?? Check out the NEW and improved Complete Index !!!

Ions!
I didn't believe in it either, but I thought these things wouldn't hurt! I bought a salt lamp for our bedroom and the whole family loved it! We bought one for the boys to have as a night light in there room, and DH wanted one to have at work!!! DH has his on at work all the time. I also wore Rose Quartz (I found the most beautiful necklace!), and wore sandalwood perfume oil (Aura Blends). I would take a bath with lavender Epsom salts once a week to relax and ease my muscles from the hour long cardio and 30-45 minutes of yoga I was doing 6 days a week (I added yoga on top of cardio for my mental well being from TTCing for 8 months). I also put a package of girl onesies I was given when pregnant with DS2 under my bed.
Not sure what we are having yet, but we should know sometime next week!

Ey i thought I wrote something, but appearently it didn't come trhough?
Anyway, the ions are, for me, just for some extra relaxation (I love the smell and long hot baths) and just a fun way of reminding myself why I'm doing this. I will def not be painting my nails everyday, don't have the time nor the patience. But I do like pretty nails and for me it's a way of taking better care of myself. And when my nails are pink, once again it's a reminder for me why I'm doing this.
I used to have a salt lamp! Don't know where it is now, may have chucked it or gave it to charity. But will be on the lookout for one, as I bet my sons will love a rocklamp. And if it doesn't hurt, I'll 'add' it to my swayMummy to a girl, born sleeping & two gorgeous & loud little boys

Get a rock salt lamp. I did the - ion thing for my DD! I wore a neg ion bracelet 24/7 and the hot shower head filled up all my baths and made ions go into the air. I believe in it.

I successfully had my girl nearly 3 years ago thanks to an awesome plan from atomic. I have just started on Ozempic to try and lose some weight due to PCOS and it’s working well. Does anyone...
