Question about every 4 days
It's fine as long as there is just one attempt within the 4 days prior to ovulation correct?
For instance, we dtd on Thursday but I'm on CD 15 and still don't have a positive OPK. We haven't dtd since. I'm a late ovulater as it is plus I had a chemical last cycle. I'm assuming I'm going to ovulate on like Friday or Saturday. Is it fine if I dtd like Wednesday?
I did get pregnant dtd 5 days before I ovulated last cycle (even though it was a chemical) so is it still a good attempt if it's 3-4 days before ovulation?
And dtd 4-5 days before ovulation, do you think that increases a chance of a chemical? I understand it decreases chance of pregnancy.

Well is it really the pattern that helps? Or is it the one attempt prior to ovulation that actually sways? We usually only dtd once a week and I don't feel like it today and we also can't another day this week because we are driving to go on vacation.

It's the one attempt. DTD every 4 days gives you the best chance of having sperm alive & waiting when the egg is released. If it goes over 4 days the sperm will have died off and you risk nothing being there to meet the egg.

Ok I think I'm going to have our one attempt be CD 16 and hope I ovulate on CD 18. 2 days prior isn't bad. And I guess if I O on CD19 3 days isn't horrible. If I ovulate on CD20, I will have another attempt on CD20 then. Does that sound good?

Ahhhhh OPKs are still negative at cd17 so I have no idea when I'm ovulating.

Yes that's right. The way it works is that with e4d, the sperm from the older batch will be all or nearly all dead and gone leaving you with one good attempt in fertile window.
The odds are pretty slim to get pregnant from BD 5 days before ovulation so it's not very likely lightning would strike twice, I would not try to rely on that long a cutoff that's for sure.
Atomic, this may sound crazy but I’ve been reading about moon phases… I have a ‘red moon cycle’ currently which I didn’t used to have. Meaning my period is coinciding with the full moon. From...
