If you look on this page, about 6 threads down from the top, you'll see one called "how we got our girls" and it's hundreds of posts answering exactly your question.

For me:
I never ate breakfast or red meat. Ate very low meat, virtually no real dairy (really only cheese, ranch dressing, some ice cream). Ate very low calorie (1800 was a "splurge" day -- 800-1200 was the norm. Don't go this low, I was relapsing into my ED!). Lots of coffee, decent amount of alcohol (often on empty stomach -- ack). Lots of exercise 4x a week heavy weights, lots of biking, team sports, hiking, etc... all on top of already low calories!

Haha pizza! But, a frequent meal (IF I was eating) would be a charcuterie spread of meats (cured pork like prosciutto, soppressetta, etc.), olives and aged cheeses with red wine. Or caprese sandwiches (basil, pesto, tomato, mozzarella, ciabatta bread). I also did more rice based dishes like donburi bowls with homemade tonkatsu (so panko breaded pork).
I'm realizing a lot lately that any meat I had was pork or chicken!

I do not, not, not to infinity and beyond, decide to start restructuring your lifestyle to make it more "girl friendly". Boy moms are planners and controllers by nature and what ends up happening is that ladies decide they're going to launch into "Swaylapalooza 2016" with these big involved schedules where every minute of every day for 6 months is accounted for and full of "girl friendly" activities. It's the planning and scheduling and turning your life upside down and inside out to accomplish a goal that sways. Not the stuff you do all day. Please just try to make swaying a very unobtrusive part of your life and not something that is in the forefront of your mind all day. For example:
10-10:15 - focus on thinking positively and asking the universe to bring me my daughter
10:15 to 10:30 - listen to soothing music while I slather myself with lavender lotion
10:30 to 10:45 - meditation
10:45 to 11 -birdwatching for pink birds only
most of us, pink moms and blue moms alike, are barely hanging on by a thread running here and there doing carpools and changing diapers and putting meals on the table. Moms of girls are not getting girls because they have a lifestyle that is drastically different from boy moms. They're getting girls because their approach to their life is diffferent in that they aren't trying to control every single element of everything in their universes with an iron grip. So I just don't want you guys keeping the "iron grip" and then applying that to "relaxation" because you'll miss the forest for the trees if you do that. The controlfreakishness is the problem, and it's NOT a solution to then apply controlfreakishness to altering your lifestyle (because the song is still the same!)Last edited by atomic sagebrush; May 10th, 2016 at 02:12 PM.
