Confused TTC Girl - Short LP Vitamin B?

    Hello!

I have two little boys, one is 3 years old and the other is 10 months old. I am still nursing my youngest and have had two AFs since his birth. I tracked ovulation for both cycles and my LP is only about 6/7 days long. I didn't have any problems getting pregnant while nursing my oldest and my LP was a good length. I want a little girl so desperately and was planning on officially ttc next cycle. I am worried about my shortened LP. I'm not sure if I should just wait and see if it fixes itself, or if I should take a vitamin B complex? Will the Vitamin B sway boy? If anyone had any experience, please any help would be greatly appreciated!

    Thank you so very much!

Your LP is short because you're not that far past postpartum yet. This is VERY normal and it will recover over time. I would add in 1 serving full fat dairy a day and 4-6 eggs a week.

Please do not add in B vitamins. They are ineffective for most people (the people who think they helped, their cycle probably just came back normally after a few months anyway) and what's worse, they can actually mess up your cycle MORE, so you end up not only with short LP but also a delayed ovulation. And yes, it does sway blue!

Thank you so very much for your quick and very helpful response! You are the best!

The one serving of full fat dairy a day and 4-6 eggs a day are okay on the LE diet as long as I stay in the recommended parameters then, correct? I am eating vegetarian and following the specifications you have written for the LE diet.

Yes exactly! Make it a part of the overall limits for the day, it's simply that some quality of the type of fat in them gives your body the right kind of raw materials to make sex hormones like progesterone.
