There are different sides of this question, some say it is ok, some say know. So, as I understand ultrasound is a high sound that it is beyond human perception. so as i understood you right, the ultrasound has less influence on the early terms and it doesn't harm te fetus. but the more term is the bigger influence is?

i read that very often ultrasound shows wrong results!

Can't say that it is very often but there are cases when the result was wrong. Also there is 3D ultrasound now and it is difficult to make a mistake with such technical progress. Again everything depends on the term.
