You look at the area right below the leg, where the leg is attached to the body. Directly under that, (sorta sticking out of the body) there is a blob-looking thing that when you look carefully, you can see is two sorta lines, one stacked on top of the other (this is called a "stacked nub" and is seen in male fetuses). Additionally, if you look at the angle of that nub, compared to the angle of the spine, you can see that the nub is angled "upward," which is also indicative of a male fetus. My guess on this baby is boy.
There are various things you look for when looking for a girl as well. The area would be more of a straight line and would be coming directly out of the body, parallel to the spine. Sometimes you will see a fork (like this: --< ) at the end of a girl nub. But not necessarily and having a fork itself is not a sign of girl. It has to be paired with the angle of the nub to signify girl.
Most people learn to guess just by being on forums like this and studying various nubs and seeing the difference. Ive been guessing for over 2 years now. Some nubs still stump me. But this one is more classic.A: "Owner" of the following brood:
-Our biggest surprise dude (L: 2009)
-Our rainbow little man (K: 2011)
-Our sway and pray little diva (J: 2013)
-Our lucky charm guy (S: 2015)
We may be done, we may come back for one more sway. Time will tell. At the moment, we are very content with our family!

Hotdogzboys thank you for educating me! Really appreciate you taking the time to help me out. Great lil lesson. But I still don't feel confident in guessing ultrasounds. I guess you all just have a knack for it.

Hotdogboyz Please van you tell me where the nub exactly is in my pic? I posted in this section as well "can you see a nub" and I know now with 10 weeks it's too early but I want to know where to look at exactly. Is it the bright white line on the left at the cross or is it more above on the left, the white bright forked thing right above the line of the tech? I'm confused where to look at!
Sorry hopeful to interfere your thread!
