Is coq10 bad for TTC girl?
I've been taking 100mg for about 6 weeks hoping to help egg quality since I'm older (39) and H is 43. I didn't realize it's a TTC boy supp until this week so I've stopped but our first attempt is supposed to be next week. Does it sway much? Should we skip this cycle? Anything I can do to counteract it?

Coq10 is an interesting supplement because I use it quite a lot for pink AND blue.
Coq10 lowers blood sugar and helps egg quality (eggs don't always love sky high blood sugar) Overall, lower blood sugar sways pink.
Now, blue swayers use coq10 because they CAN. Our body doesn't love high blood sugar, it likes medium blood sugar, and since blue swayers eat big meals with protein, carbs, and fat 3x a day plus 2-5 snacks, their blood sugar stays up all the time and so the coq10 is easily metabolized by them with no ill effects to their BS levels and they also get the benefits of coq to their eggs and it helps them build muscle too.
Pink swayers are eating less often, usually carb-heavy meals. When pink swyaers take coq it helps their bodies deal with the carbs in their meals and lowers their blood sugar levels sooner after eating. Pink swayers can't grow muscle on LE Diets, it's not possible.
So, coq10 is one of those things that can be beneficial to both pink and blue sways! No worries, you are doing just right!

Atomic - am I right in understanding that the Coq10 has to be the ubiquinol form though and not ubidecarenone? I bought the ubidecarenone type and can't find my receipt to take it back. Lol! Also, do you know if it acts as blood thinner also? Thanks

2019. My longed-for baby girl (DD2) arrived into the world safe and sound on 13th June 2019 . We named her Lucia Anna Catalina. I still can't believe she is here and often have to pinch myself. I am one VERY blessed Mumma. She also has a dimple like her big sister.

NO, coq10 is not a blood thinner and in fact is the opposite of one.
Ubidecarenone is ok for younger women but anyone over 37 and up gets more benefit from Ubiquinol as our bodies may not have the ability to turn the one into the Ubiquinol our bodies use.
I already answered this in a different thread so check your old threads 1more
