Breastfeeding and swaying pink
Hello I am still breastfeeding my nearly 14 month old. Does breastfeeding still help to sway pink at this stage or is it only in the first 6 months when you are feeding lots. I only feed my little one twice a day now. Thanks

It didn't work for me as i'm preggo with DS2 and got pregnant breastfeeding ds1 when he was exactly that age. I have to say my diet was totally opposite to the LE diet and i got pregnant before i could start swaying (I discovered all about it the month we had already started ttc)...
I think that as long as you keep doing it helps in someway, but the combo of all factors (diet, one attempt, ... ) is what really helps.

It is supposed to help sway pink but it's not a guarantee. I got pregnant with DS2 while nursing DS1.

I got a DD from Breastfeeding my DS3 6-8 times a day. I was in the process of weaning my DS2 and feeding him only once a day when I got pregnant with my DS3. I think if it sways, it matters how frequently you feed and your diet. I led a strict LE diet and did cardio only.
🤞🏻for you!

Thanks so much for your replies ladies. It’s difficult isn’t it because I needed to reduce feeds to get my period back again but then feeding less probably means less likely to help sway! Very annoying!!

I believe strongly that breastfeeding sways pink. I have a big long explanation about why and how and why you cannot always see this obviously in the population if anyone wants to hear it.
YES it still helps even if only nursing 1x a day. Nursing has an effect on your body and if you're doing it even a little, it has that effect.!!! Questions?? Check out the NEW and improved Complete Index !!!

Also, even though I am only feeding a couple of times a day I hope the LE diet is still safe for my nursing boy. I assume my milk will become very low in nutrients for him

The LE Diet is based on recommendations from the World Health Organization and reproductive endocrinologists as a healthy and safe prepregnancy diet. it is NORMAL food intake. NORMAL. 100% normal. It is simply the low end of normal, the amount many women eat all the time just as a matter of course.
I would never do anything that could harm a child and I would never recommend anything for swaying I believed to be harmful.
I like you guys to eat upper levels while nursing 1800-2000 cals a day, 50-60 g protein and fat...now only 2x a day you may not need to do that. As I always recommend, let your weight loss and milk supply guide you. If you start making less milk and/or lose weight quickly, eat more.
Additionally just to be sure you are aware of this, all low carb veg are free and unlimited - you can have as much as you want, no need to count calories or nutrients at all. And higher carb fruit and vegetables are free for protein and fat, you count only calories in them, so you can have even more protein and fat coming in.!!! Questions??
