I'm back at it!!
Hi all
I'm new here but not so new to gender wishing, hoping, praying, and researching. I have 2 lovely sons. 7.5 years ago I found out I was expecting son # 2 and spiraled into a depression that I couldn't explain or understand. That's when I first heard gd and found ig. I obsessively frequented that site for a year or two until I finally decided I needed to unplug and get over it.
I did unplug. I did get in a better place. I never got over wanting a dd. I completely threw myself into work. I got really good at my job. Lol I became pretty successful too.
Anyways long story short, I quit my job, moved to a tropical island. Now I think I'm finally in an emotionally stable place to attempt swaying and be fine with any outcome.
I can't wait to get to know y'all.

Concentrating on my career really helped. I was able to focus attention on something other than what I didn't have. It also helped me to surround myself with people who weren't in that family building stage. There was no talk of babies, genders, and all that mumbo jumbo. They just had kids. Those achy twinges never left, but it was much easier to ignore them.

Well, I'm a little envious of your tropical island. But I'll let you stay Welcome! I hope you enjoy your time here while trying for your little girl.

We may be done, we may come back for one more sway. Time will tell. At the moment, we are very content with our family!

It's better to look back on life and say: "I can't believe I did that" than to look back and say "I wish I did that".

Hey, thanks Atomic for your reassuring message. I’m feeling a little better health wise although the thrush medication wasn’t helpful at all, I think it actually made things worse…?! Of more...
