Thinking pink after 5 boys!
Hello everyone,
I've lurked on this site for a long time and thought it was about time I joined!
A little bit about me...I thought I was through with having children after having my 5th son nearly two years ago. Although lately it seems to be really bothering me that I may never have a daughter. I'm truly grateful for my boys and I wouldn't trade them for the world! I love them all fiercely so I think this feeling is just a case of me getting older and realising that time may run out on me ever experiencing having a daughter. I don't want to regret never at least trying at a time when it still could be possible.
Can anyone relate?
Finally, the information on this site is fascinating but a little overwhelming...I've read so much I've forgotten everything! Are there any basic, specific articles I should be focussing on in order to get a better understanding of swaying pink?
TIA for any replies!!

I wish I could help but I also found that the information was everywhere and I had to ask for alot of specific advice. I did find that "atomic" was incredible in helping me out and I wish I could meet her and thank her for my daughters. xxxx

Hello, I have had 5 boys as well and I love them with all I am, but still I long fora daughter. We are going to give it one more shot to see if we can get our girl. But I know this is out last shot, I am already 40. there is a ton of information on this site about swaying, but the index is the best place to get your information. The LE diet for at least 12 weeks seems to be giving the best results with one attempt (bd) in the fertile window.
me (42 ) DH (43)
1995 (gave up for adoption)
2005
2010
2013 (failed IG sway)
July 2015 (swayed, lost his triplet siblings

2017.
Swayed for our
but had all

Swaying Advice Coach
Hi and welcome!!!
This site is meant as a clearinghouse of info because people want to include lots of different sway tactics (and it's not my job to tell them what they should do). BUT if you're asking me the things that I personally really think sway pink and what helped me to get my daughter after 4 boys:
LE Diet 12 weeks or longer, plus fiber, coffee, alcohol
Cardio exercise 6-7 days a week 60 min a day
having one attempt
husband smoking
Clomid or femara if you can get it
These things I think are really working. All the rest of it seems to be fading away into nothing but background noise.
Also everone needs to take folic acid or folate for a healthy pregnancy. No prenatals as they may sway blue.

ive had 2 girls after 4 boys so its totally possible for us mums of 3,4,5+ boys to get our girl/s!! for me the biggest things were the diet-no snacking!! (im a snack addict normally) and 1 attempt (my boys were all conceived dtd right through my girls were both 1 attempt) id do as many of the other bits atomic recommends as you can too!!
best of luck with your sway and i hope you have your little girl xx

At the risk of sounding stupid...what exactly is 'one attempt'? My cycle is quite irregular so it's not always easy to figure out when I'm ovulating. I use a few apps to help but to be honest each one gives me a different fertile window. I've just started using the ovulation tests so hopefully that will shed some light on the issue. But what exactly do you mean when you say 'one attempt'?
Sorry for sounding clueless!!

One attempt means only having unprotected sex once in your fertility window. It means you only have "one attempt" to get pregnant that cycle. Most ladies to their "attempt" when they get a +OPK so they know they are about to ovulate. If you are very irregular or OPKs don't work for you, or you are in a hurry to get pregnant, you can have unprotected sex every 4th day starting after AF and going all the way till almost AF again. This will cover you and give you that one attempt in your fertility window. Good luck.

Hello, Atomic hopefully you will see this! It has definitely been a while. I am not TTC, my cycles have been MIA for over a year, I'm quite certain. I have not been charting but haven't had it....
Not sure where to ask not TTC
