Ladies,
This photo from my CVS ultrasound today. Although by last period, I am 10w5d, by size of baby, I am 11w2d. I know this is early, but I have seen all three of my boys by 12 weeks without any doubt, and to me, this looks like three lines. I have two other photos with a straight fork as well. Is it possible?
We will have the results in less than two days (rapid FISH results, just like 5 probe PGD... will tell us 13, 18, 21 and gender). But would love your feedback as well.
Thanks so much!
xo Rose

You are really early. I do not see anything sticking up but if you research the whole nub thing, it is not as accurate before 12 weeks and even better with 13...I really hope this is your DD...not seeing anything obvious is great!
ETA- the nub thing is by gestational age, not what the babe is measuring too just so you know...usually people wait until 11 weeks minimum to do a NT scan.

Well I'm going to say GIRL. On basis that we guessed correctly that my boys were boys at 11 - 11.5wks as they had raised forks/nubs. Your nub is flat and if anything angled down towards the spine. There is still time for it to rise to an angle, but I think girl given how it looks now. Re the three lines: both XX and XY can have that at this stage. Check out the ultrasound gender stuff on Pregnancy and Baby Information - Conceive Fetus Pregnant Labor Birth Timeline. They have pics where at 12wks both have fork shapes but the boy one is angled up, not down like yours. One of my boys had the 3 lines, but in a triangular shape where the middle one was set out in front and 2 others further back. Yours looks different. Gosh I hope I'm right. Fx the wait passes quickly! MMx

Thanks for the feedback and supportive thoughts. I totally understand it is too early to form any conclusions.
This is just the first time I have ever believed it might be possible to have a girl. My early ultrasounds with the boys were all immediately and obviously boy. NBP is right... those were 12 weeks 0 days, and there is still time for the nub to rise.
For me, there is nothing lost to have a little extra dose of hope for the next 40 hours. Can't believe how calm I feel. Am sure that will change tomorrow. xoxo9
