JDD1017 TTC girl sway attempt
TTC a Girl Sway Attempt
Gender Result:
Boy? At the NT scan at 12 weeks, there were very obvious boy parts. The sono tech was 95% sure that baby was a boy, but since it was so early she couldn't confirm it yet.

Comments regarding DW's diet changes-
My diet was completely different from when I conceived my boys. With DS1, I had gotten married about 6 months prior and had gained about 15 lbs since the wedding. I was also working at a diner while going to nursing school and eating horrible food from the diner when I got off work With DS2, I was at my highest adult weight and we had just moved into a new house so I was having fun cooking a lot of very fattening, rich meals. With both boys I was eating quite a bit of meat, fat, dairy, and protein. This time around, I ate meat aprox 1-2 times per week, stopped eating dairy and cheese (mostly because it had too much of my daily amount of protein and fat), cut back on my Coke intake from 3 cans a day to about 3 a week. Stopped salting my food--which is huge because I salt EVERYTHING! I tried to stick to 30-40 grams of fat and protein per day and 1500 calories per day. I know salt and pop aren't huge swayers, but I tried to just do the opposite of everything I did when I conceived my boys. I also drank Crystal Light like crazy!

I am a night shift nurse, so I drank a couple of beers or a glass of wine on my nights off, so about 4 times a week

No, I drink caffeine regularly
WEIGHT AND EXERCISE
What did you weigh/BMI do leading up to O?
In February of 2016 I weighed 155 lbs, and I am 5'6". After being on the LE diet I got down to 137 lbs at my lowest-however my weight fluctuated from 137-140 most normal days. Around the time I ovulated my weight got up to 143 from a recent vacation

SUPPLEMENTS USED
Folic Acid
Clomid (The cycle of BFP was my first cycle after stopping Clomid, I was switched to Femara instead, prior to that I had done 3 cycles of clomid. Cycles 1 and 2 were 50 mg, cycle 3 was 100 mg).
Pregnitude-I started this about 3 weeks before ovulation
Femara-I took this instead of Clomid the cycle of BFP
DH Supplements
None-he had been on Licorice Root and OLE but we stopped those because I was worried we weren't going to get pregnant.
Any additional supplement info?

I had a rock salt lamp by the bed, most of the time I forgot to turn it on though haha
Moon Phase during conception?
Unsure-I'm pretty sure it was in a new moon though
Did you use any Old Wives Tales?
Wooden spoon and girl outfit under the bed
Things that make me feel great about my sway:
My diet, exercise, and weight change. Also-I had been taking Clomid in the cycles prior and the BFP cycle I was on Femara, with the hopes that there was still some Clomid in my system! I have never exercised that much in my life either!
Things that make me nervous about my sway:
We stopped all of DH supplements and we had so many attempts. Since we were on Clomid and Femara I felt like I couldn't waste cycles with just one attempt. I had a short luteal phase, which is why I was taking fertility meds. The cycle I got a BFP was the first cycle that I actually ovulated on time. I wish I had done just one attempt that month, since it was really our first cycle that would have worked anyway, but I was afraid my OB was going to stop the meds and refer me on if I didn't get pregnant quickly. Also-I cut back my calories, fat, and protein, but I probably could have done better with limiting my snacking. Although it was a huge improvement compared to how I was prior to swaying, I still had small snacks often-especially when I was at work.
Things worth mentioning:
Will post final gender results after anatomy scan at 20 weeks.

Hello, Atomic hopefully you will see this! It has definitely been a while. I am not TTC, my cycles have been MIA for over a year, I'm quite certain. I have not been charting but haven't had it....
Not sure where to ask not TTC
